There are some seriously bitter people about who see any good deed and must find a reason why it's not so good. There are some seriously bitter people that sit around and do nothing until they perceive an error and then they're all over it like flies on poop.

I thought Depp cleared up the native-claim issue. I think he posted transcript from the interview and it showed he said that he thinks he has native ancestry. Thinking one has native ancestry is a bit different than claiming it.

Funny I never was, even think the conversation was avoided even amid tales of the wendigo and loupGarou and such.....Only when I was over 60 years old when helping my brother's son do an ancestry search did i find out my mother was at least half native....her father from the USA is impossible to track down.
If anyone has any info about a Pierre Menard who moved from the USA to Canada in the 1890's I would appreciate it!

Yeah it's kinda interesting we've been able to trace back to my great grand father but after that it's silent.
