Dammit. It was fun. What was up with Missem'? Great rushing but he can't catch.

Leave it to the Afro-Ukrainian Demski for blowing 2 points. Oh huh ho yo!

Nice night for cold beer and answering texts after being seen on TV.

Smilin' Hank was amazing.

Montreal in Mosaic today to take on my Riders. Been so wrapped up with the Blue Jays I haven't checked lately to see how things are with the team.

GO RIDERS, GO!

Riders lead 12 - 1 end of the first quarter thank to a TD and a couple of FGs from Paul McCallum. That's the good news, the not so good is that we should have had a couple more TDs but failed to get into the end zone. Rider's defense doing a good job so far, they all ready have an interception off a tipped ball that led to the Rob Bagg TD.

Half-time and Riders lead by 14 points - could have been a lot more but we are 0 for 3 in the red zone and have been relying on Paul's leg to get us points. Have also been helped by a very penalty prone Al's defense and two interceptions thrown by Crompton - both snagged by Macho Harris. It's possible, actually likely that Rakeem Cato will replace Jonathan Crompton in the second half - which could be bad for the Riders as Rakeem can pass and he can run. Lots of dropped balls by both teams in this game - so many lost opportunities. However, the Riders appear to have a handle on their penalty taking as they have had only one for 10 yards in the first half.

GO RIDERS!

Macho Harris snags 3rd interception of the game - this one off Cato - and returns it 50 yards for a Rider TD. Paul good on convert. Riders lead 22 - 2. 16 points off TOs for the Riders. Montreal concedes single on long boot from Early. 23 - 2 Riders. Montreal gets another 3 points on a Bede FG. 23 - 5 Riders to end 3rd Q.

33 - 21 the final and my Riders came through with the win. Macho Harris, Jerome Messam, and Rob Bagg were huge contributors to the win - big kudos guys. Defense came through big time for us. We had a good ground game but I have a few questions about Kevin Glenn's performance today. Still, it is a win and I am a happy camper. Rock on Riders.

CFL & NFL will still be playing after the Jays have won the World Series.

Poor Argos though. They have to move some more home dates due to Blue Jays home playoff games.

The Argos just can't catch a break............they had to start their season in the boonies. Personally, I think the CFL should seriously consider moving the team to a city in the Maritimes. Way too many sports and other distractions in TO. The team has struggled for years to get fans to the games - things may change once they move into their new digs next year but if they don't...........move them to some place where they are truly appreciated. Anyone still want to blame Chamblin?

Ha, ha, rockman. What a frickin' mess. Who to blame.......haven't a clue. Wondering how many fans still want to see Dyce stay on as HC next year though.

Did you see me on TV? I was the guy in the green in the stands.
That was you?? Way to go.........twice now you've managed to find you way onto our screens. :p

I agree that there are too many Riders that are past their prime.

I haven't been to any games at Mosaic for a few years. My daughter and her husband have seats on the 50 yd line. We were on the sunny side but it was a 7:00 start so the sun wasn't an issue. Unfortunately we lost (surprise, surprise) but it was a good game.

The next weekend we went with a friend's work place. That time we were up pretty well as high as we could go in the stadium. It was even more fun because on the bus ride, everyone was extremely overwhelmed.

Watching any sport live , even if you play so bad, you stick out the place. Nothing's better.

I have always said that a true fan, sticks with their until the very last whistle. I am afraid that I had to bail on the Riders , during Friday's games. It was just plain embarrassing. They just didn't seem to care I am getting to that point myself. This weekend is a bye so with 2, games left, maybe they can show us some pride.
