Atheist: "Where was your god to save them?"
Believer: "My god saved the rest."
Realist: Shakes head.

My thought was along the lines of "how fortunate for them to have died at mecca on their pilgrimage" If you live all your life in devotion to ensure you enter janna what better way to go then at mecca?

no no, they were at a devotion thingy. Suicide vests are for when you're making a political/ religious statement. Different events entirely. Pretty sure their prophet told them the difference.

The injured 863, the killed 717

I went today to some of our friends to greet them for the Festival of the Hajj performance.
A discussion went among us like this:

All of them said: it is God's punishment to Muslims.

Said A : it is a warning of God to Muslims; see the falling of the machine on the Kaaba following a severe unusual and unexpected tempest, then death of many people in a bus, then this stampede which resulted in such number of casualties and injured.

I said: Give me more explanation.

Said B: If you see such accident befalling the disbelievers, you will say, it is God's punishment; but if you see Muslims afflicted, you don't say such words?

I said: I know for certain that it is God's punishment, but what is the implication, that it happened in the Hajj, in addition to that Muslims are massacred everywhere?

Said A: This is certainly a warning of Mulsims, because they are committing much corruption with their wronging each other and most important is their enthusiasm about the imams and the prophet himself.

I said: How is that?

Said A: Many of Sunni go to Mecca for the visiting of the grave of the Prophet in Medina, while Shiaa go to visit their imams in the Baqi'a in Medina. while the Hajj is essentially the devotion to God alone by visiting His House in the pilgrimage.

I said: I agree, but the non-Muslims, what do they say?

Said C: So what? The truth is the truth.

Said A: The Muslims are punished because of their contradicting the Quran and because of their enthusiasm about the imams, while the non-Muslims, like US and Tel Aviv they have been set on Muslims because of the enthusiasm of the Muslims and their wronging each other, and their associating their imams and even the Prophet with God. And therefore, God has set the tyrants: Tel Aviv and the US on them; then afterwards: God will punish these Zionists and US utterly. Like Titus was set on Jews and they were punished by him, but where is Titus, certainly he were also killed later on.

I said: So what's your final idea?

Said B: It is so obvious, that God has punished the Muslims on account of their associating their imams and prophet beside God, and so such accidents happen to them, and so He set on them their enemies, and He later on will take revenge on their enemies, like Nabuchodonosor and Jews.

So all of them thought like this, and I agree of all their words, but I asked them to let them explain the matter.

Of course their god did it. And if it happened and no-one was injured, they would have said their god did that, too. All the while, their god is actually sitting back watching and eating popcorn and thinking, "I didn't lift a finger. What a bunch of fools".

God is the All-Mighty and Most Gracious: the Lord of the heavens and the earth; He is not fed, but He Himself feed others.
Everything that befalls man is on account of his acts; if man disobeys and commits the sins, he will be punished, and may be given respite also to a later time.
E.g. if man withholds the alms and some products of his garden or field, a tempest may come and break some trees and palms of his garden, or the hailstones may come down on his farm; God sends such hail on his farm.

Imaginary creations don't eat popcorn. They eat fear and desperation washed down with a big glass of greed

The Christ said: "Hypocrite, you don't see the piece of wood in your eye, but you see any small thing in the eyes of others!?"

See the communities in the West, who consider themselves civilized: when the daughter reaches 18 years of age, she will go herself wherever she likes, to sleep with boys, and even brings her boyfriend to the house of her family; then she leaves this friend or he leaves her and find others. They disregard the marriage according to God's religion, and say the girl or boy may not marry before 18, but she may go with other teenagers.

When man or woman becomes old, they take him to the house for the elderly to live there what remained of his years.

Some of our friends went abroad, and he discussed with some of his companions in work: they said: this is our life: we go to work early, then return late and go to the bars and dancing places and drink wine and return tired then sleep to get early next morning to go to work; this is our life.

Yeah, I get cranky when I don't eat, too.

Obviously. And that's because gods don't care.

Karma bites sometimes.

I withhold "alms" and groceries all the time and haven't had any tempests. On occasion we get hail but the hailstones are small and do little damage. Your god must like women gardeners more than men.
God sends such hail on his farm.
Around here hail is an area thing. It usually starts down the valley and works its way up. Just like rain or snow. And I am pretty sure there is no magician up in the air conjuring up weather.

Yeah, I get cranky when I don't eat, too.

God is Eternal, Unlimited, and is Superior to having any defect.
The eating of food will lead to the excreta, which is the dirt of man and animal following their eating food.

And that's because gods don't care.

God the Creator is never unaware of His creatures; so He punishes the wrong-doers who wrongs others and transgresses on them; and God rewards the good-doer.

I withhold "alms" and groceries all the time and haven't had any tempests.
God likes the one who give alms to the poor and needy, but He dislikes the miser and the stingy, who withholds money and other alms from the poor.
So if you are unpunished as you say, you should be more fearful, because your punishment may be postponed to the future; or you may be misguided and will not find the way of the truth, then will be punished in the Next Life. It is up to God to punish or to pardon.

Hail is almost small, but sometimes may be large; it hits some farms and spares others.

God is Most Gracious and Most Merciful, and yet He is All-Mighty Who takes revenge of His enemies.
Such picturing of God is according to the idolatry imagination; there is none or nothing like Him.
So out of His mercy to both believers and disbelievers, in this life of the World, is that He gives people respite and does not hasten to deal with them immediately.

{Quran 35: 45. If God should [hasten to] take men to task [and punish them] for what [sins] they earn, He would not leave on the surface [of the earth] even one moving creature [man or animal.] o
But He defers them to a ‘stated decreed time’ p, and when their ‘decreed time’ comes q, then God is Ever-Discerning His servants r.}
.............................................................
o But all of them would have died.
p Which is the last day of their life time.
q By death.
r When He will punish the disbelievers and show mercy to the believers in the Barzakh world [: the Afterlife.]

Such pictures posted by Twila, and which are spread by atheists are full of fallacies, like the politician election campaign.
Imaging God like an old rancorous man, while nothing is like God, and God is Superior to any imagination.

  • Give humans innate curiosity, but punish any who questions me
--- this is assertion of something wrong and not correct, and you may ask God to give you whatever you like, and to guide you to know the truth. But of course you should not revile God or show no respect.

  • Is Forgiving, but banishes all humanity that doesn’t warship him to an eternity in hell because someone ate a fruit

This misconception that was inserted in the Torah of Ezra (which is the Torah available now and included in the Old Testament) that all humanity are punished because Adam ate the apple; this is wrong; and Adam was created in a garden or forest on one of the earth mountains, then when he disobeyed God, he was punished by having his garden dried up, and he was obliged to leave it and descend to the plain land and toil to get his provision.
http://www.quran-ayat.com/conflicts/index.htm#the_second_mistake

  • I gave you logical reasoning skills, but now disregard them and believe in me through blind faith
This is also one of their assertion of non-correct idea.
Blind faith is rejected in the Quran, and man has to think and believe.

  • Thou shall not kill, but unless they are witches, gay, heathen, enemies, Muslims, slaves, poor, adulterous, rebellious kids, blasphemers or smartasses
This is one of the Ten Commandments which people should respect because of its great value to keep security and prevent murder, and the murderer is a wrong-doer who deserves the punishment: that is the murderer should be killed.
But if the murderer is left without punishment, then security will be lost.

  • If everything happens as a result of God’s will, why do religious people spend so much time protesting of everything?
The term 'religious people' is erroneous; there is nothing as religious people: the one who obeys and the one who disobey; if a prophet commits a disobedience he will suffer its consequences or if he asks forgiveness, the Most Gracious may forgive and pardon him. Like Jonah, David and others.

  • “Thou should not kill”, but goes on to tell you specifically who you should kill
The same fallacy as above.

  • Creates you in his image, but sends you to Hell for being the way He created you.
Also this statement was by the hand of Ezra son of Siraeh, who re wrote their Torah after the captivity of Babylon;

while in fact there can't be anything like God the Creator of everything.

So all these points are full of fallacies, but are asserted with their cunning deception of people; in fact these atheists act like the act of Satan: by lying to themselves and to others and by distorting the truth.

Wait, so God will sic the enemies of Islam upon them and then will take revenge on said enemies for attacking the Muslims? Geez, what an a-hole.

God set on the wrong-doer one who is more cruel than him, then He will destroy the transgressor.
Like Hilter, God set him on the Imperialist states: UK, France and others and he destroyed them and occupied Paris in one week, and He set Hitler on Jews, but later on God took revenge on Hitler after He achieved His purpose: punishing the wrong-doing states in addition to Zionists.

When Jews associated with their Lord God, and worshiped the idols in addition to Baal, the gold calf statues, and they killed the prophets and the righteous people and exaggerated in their wrong-doing and transgression --> God set on them the king of Babylon, who destroyed them utterly. Then God removed that tyrant.
So the 'tyrant' is used by God to punish His servants who disobey His commandment and who exceed in their transgression on others.

The same was for Titus.

So it is the plan of God to set on the wrong-doer one who is more than him in wrong-doing, to enslave and abase him.

Prophet Mohammed said: "God says: The tyrant or the wrong-doer is My sword, I take revenge by means of him, then I take revenge of him also later on."

So the crime essentially is: associating other gods or saints with God + the wrong-doing.

None of those points are fallacious. They are not based on beliefs, but facts as ascertained from the "word of god". You have choosen to believe the passages as you interpret them. Had god been omnipotent and omniscient then he would NOT have had his men write a book that required interpretation and re-interpretation. He would have known the facts of his universe and not made mistakes such as:

God created the world in 6 days about 10,000 years ago.
All fowls that creep, going upon all four, shall be an abomination unto you. - fowl don't have 4 legs
And the hare, because he cheweth the cud - uh they don't chew cud
the kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed which…is the least of all seeds, but when it is grown is the greatest among herbs and becometh a tree. - there are many smaller seeds, like the orchid seed; and mustard plants don’t grow into trees.

This is just a few. There is simply not enough room here for all the inaccuracies, incongruencies, factual and scientific errors or contradictions.

You choose to believe based on the hope you will not truly die. That is all.

Crane in Mecca - squish!

Hajj stampede - squish!

Want Muzzies dead? Don't need drones, don't need troops, don't need to support one crowd of filthy barbarians over another.

Just let 'er buck!
