Riders get on the board first with a really smart catch by Baggs in the end zone and real toe-dragger to stay within bounds - as the Suit said - very athletic catch. We missed on the convert but are up 6 - 0 with just over 5 minutes to go in the first.
Knox just intercepted Matt and the Riders have the ball back at midfield.
Jerome is having a tough time getting yards tonight. Just had his best run for 6 yards. They have to find a way to get him going though I gotta say Brett is making good decisions and his receivers are coming through for him.
Sask end the 1rst leading 6 - 0.
Early picks up a point on a 67 yard kick off that sailed into the end zone.

The Bombers had stopped the Riders drive cold but were called for a roughing the passer call and the Riders come away with 5 plus yards and a first down .
Hall tracks down Nichols causing him to fumble and the Riders get their 4th TO of the game.
Not that anything comes of it. I'm wondering if there is something off with Jerome. On one play he took the hand-off and ran right into one of his own team mates before bouncing off and continuing for a couple of yards.

:01 left in the 3rd and the Bombers take the lead with their first TD of the game. Converts good and the Hoovers lead by 7.

McCallum kicks a 52-yard FG and it is nullified by a Sask holding penalty.
9:20 in the 4th and Winnipeg intercepts Brett and returns the ball for a TD

Well they sure enough sucked the air out of our team. Bombers got this one 22 - 7 and I am off to watch the Jays.

Roosevelt gets us a major with a spectacular grab and run to the end zone for 71 yards and the TD. The single point puts us ahead by 7.
The Redblacks come storming back with a TD of their own early in the 2nd and we have a tied game.
Jackson with a good return to midfield - 42 yarder - for the Riders on the kick-off.
9:28 in the 2nd and my Riders have found the end zone again!!! Baggs with a great catch and we regain a 7 point lead. This is not the team I've been watching all season. Welcome back Kevin..........you are giving us a chance here.

Boy Rob Bagg is having himself a night for the team - just got us a really important 1rst down as the 3-minute warning is given in the 2nd.
I think that those fans who were hoping to see Brett Smith continue as our starter, might now understand Bob Dyce's decision to go with KG. The veteran presence Kevin brings to our team is crucial in the remaining games. He is showing me tonight that he's the one we have to go with for the rest of the season - barring injuries. Riders come up short of the end zone but McC gives us another 3 to add to extend our lead to 9 points.
T-Brack gets us another sack for the tally.

Another 26 yards for Rob.
Demski gets caught behind the line of scrimmage and loses 21 yards on the play then Jerome has an uncharacteristic drop and the Riders have to punt.
9:55 in the 3rd and the RDs are not going away - they just put another six on the board and the convert gives them the lead by 1 point.
Wow! Ottawa just got hit with 25 yards in penalties putting Sask in Ottawa territory.
Okay Paul.............nice one old man......good from the 49 to put the Riders in the lead by 2 points.
Milo misses on easy FG attempt but Riders are stuck in end zone after a bumbled run out of the end zone. Smith gives them some breathing room with a nice first down but the next pass is incomplete and that ends the 3rd Q. Sask up by 2.
Dig deep Riders............dig real deep and find us a win. Please.

Unfortunately, we don't go anywhere and have to punt. A great kick by Early - out at the ten. Long field for the RBs and plenty of opportunity for our guys to step up and get that ball back. Go Riders.
7:14 Whoa! Big TO by Sask. RBS were moving the ball downfield well then fumbled on a 2nd and short - Sask recovered it around midfield. GO RIDERS!!!
Paul misses on a 48 yard attempt but the RBs concede the 2-pointer and Sask leads by 3 with just over 4 minutes left in the game.
Tristan Jackson may just have lost us the game with an out-of-bounds tackle that drew a major penalty and put RBs in the red zone and on the goal line next play.
