If the money does not go to the poorest, then just reduce revenue like taxes, that can stimulate the economy too.
Alternatively, if the government insist we spend the noney, raise taxes but then increase the charitable status of our contributions. This would force us to give while choosing how to do so.
Also, raise personal taxes but exempt business taxes. Suddenly entrepreneurs will lower their wages and reinvest in their company inatead, which can also create jobs.

I only go by the numbers quoted on the first (top) article when I type "GDP change for France". I guess it is possible that they are wrong about France's numbers too. Maybe they also went down. Hard to trust one number and not the other.

Ebay's more for auctions though isn't it? I've never used it, truth be told. And I've never seen one of those phone thingies at a garage sale either. Maybe I'm not a serious garage saler.
Psh, garage sales are for old people. I prefer my second hand junk "repurposed" or "upcycled" and bought from craft fairs.
