being good for the rangers doesn't help us here in the west, just helps the east,
and none of them care a hang about us.
yes, Chicago did it, this series is following along same as the eastern conference.

As long as the best team wins!

As long as the best team wins!

the two eastern teams are no better or worse than each other, doesn't matter which one wins,

same goes for the west, the four best teams are playing now, all are top notch, and a score at

the end of each series doesn't tell us who is better than the other, just who happened to win.

don't know yet if that same analogy will apply to the final, maybe, maybe not, we will know soon.

the fans who are cheering for certain teams will have bragging rights, if their team wins, but that is all.

just think about it, especially if a series goes 7 games, can you really say that the team who won the

series was better, and especially if one goes back thru games and realizes just how each play went

along that ended up in a goal, and how many just abouts happened, that could have been goals, its all

such a fine line, between world class teams who are all excellent in quality.

these two teams are so polite to each other, you win one then we will win one, well if tampa want

to win the series, they better change that quickly, or they will be going home.

glad Anaheim won in OT, as their goalie was not very good, maybe that first period where he had nothing
to do, was not a good thing for him, he just stood around watching his own team doing everything,
and Chicago had only 3 shots on net, and those 3 shots came late in the period.

so I'm glad they bailed him out, or he would have felt awful, as he was a sieve for sure.

so now Chicago 'has' to win next game,as does new York.

am surprised to see the Rangers still hanging in there vs Tampa Bay 7-3 with their series now tied at three games apiece

Go Blues, Go!

I'm not too surprised- they won the Presidents Trophy & I am guessing they will win the Cup. I could be wrong.

I'M glad next game is the last, so someone can move on, and they can get on with it.
the west will probably go down the same road, onto game 7, its getting too long, I just
want to move away from hockey now, the baseball is fresh and exciting, the hockey is old
and tired, gotta get it over with.

I didn't watch the game tonight, watched the blue jays, it was a great game.

I will watch some of the western game tomorrow, but not all, yep - baseball, although we have
to go to Victoria so not sure what time we will be back.

but the satellite radio in my truck will have the hockey game on, as well as the baseball game.

go Anaheim go, go jays go

saw a bit of the game, another game 7 on Saturday, both conference finals will be over and they can
move on to the finals.

don't have a clue who will win either one.

there, got one of them over with. good for tampa, rangers went to the final last year, give another

team a chance now, don't need two in a row, there are 32 teams in the nhl, lets see different teams

play in the final, I like that.

Rangers went pretty deep and anyone could've won that game. A little puck luck here and there is often the difference.

the right team definitely won game 7 for the west. Anaheim wasn't in that game at 'all', and Chicago came

to win it , and win it they did. I would have liked Anaheim to win for our pacific division, but no,

the best team on the night was by far Chicago, they will represent the west well, and I will be

cheering hard for them.

player for player they really are quite an amazing bunch including coach quenville, who is a rock behind
the bench.

toews is a fine captain, he scored the first two goals early in the game, set the tone, and they never
looked back, so good luck to them in the finals, keep the cup in the west, and make
us westerners proud.

not the nhl, but just want to congratulation Oshawa generals for winning the memorial cup.

both they and Kelowna rockets are two great teams, as good as each other, someone had to score
in overtime, and it was the generals.

cole castles playes for Oshawa, a draft pick of canucks, he will be a good one, one of Oshawa's
top players.

Rangers' Mats Zuccarello suffered fractured skull, blood in his brain after taking puck to the head
POSTMEDIA NETWORK
First posted: Monday, June 01, 2015 02:41 PM EDT | Updated: Monday, June 01, 2015 02:49 PM EDT
Mats Zuccarello had a cracked skull and couldn’t speak for four days after taking a puck to the head during the first round of the NHL playoffs.
Three days after the New York Rangers were eliminated by the Tampa Bay Lightning in seven games, Zuccarello revealed the injury he suffered when he took a puck from fellow teammate Ryan McDonagh’s shot off the side of the head during Game 6 of their series against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
“I don’t know what you guys know, but there was a small fracture in my head,” Zuccarello said Monday from Madison Square Garden at the Rangers’ breakup day. “I lost my (ability to) talk and some feeling in my arm and stuff. I was in the hospital for three days. I couldn’t talk for a while. I had a contusion, some blood in my brain. That affects a lot. I went to speech therapy. I’m getting much better. I couldn’t say a word for four days ... I feel much better and I’m getting better and better.”
Zuccarello was working his way back from the injury, skating in a non-contact jersey during the Eastern Conference final, and said there was a small change he could have played in the final if the Rangers advanced.
“There was a small chance I might play more this year. But probably not. There’s no reason to speculate now. In the beginning I couldn’t talk. It was scary. But the doctors were really good and made sure I knew I’d be healthy. I was just happy to recover quickly.”
Despite the injury, the 27-year-old from Norway expects to be ready for the 2015-16 season.

yes, I heard the report this morning, very very scary. I saw the incident, then we didn't see him

again during the playoffs. Seems he will make a full recovery, slowly, and no hockey all summer so

he should be fine for next season.

I have always said when talking about fighting, hitting etc., that my most fearsome thought in the game

is someone being hit hard by a shot, in just the wrong place on the upper body, causing serious damage, seems this

was definitely an example of that.

glad he is recovering. good thing rangers are finished, wouldn't want to have
seen him play this season again, he should wait.

the rangers missed him big time, he is their spark plug, and also a good player.

He should quit now-to keep playing after a serious head injury is to court tragedy-you read it here first.

yes, that is the sane decision of most of us, but the professional athlete doesn't go there, he lives
to play another day, they definitely don't think like most of us, but that is their decision, as is
all of those who also participate in very risky ventures, some of them life threatening each and
every time.
