The Irish have voted over 70% in favour of allowing gay marriage. That is a pretty final referendum result.

Trying to force their warped views on other people. I'm sure there must be christian groups around that don't have a problem with gay marriage but we never hear from them.
Well, you can try the Anglican Church of Canada, the United Church of Canada, the Presbyterian church of Canada for three.
Lots of 'em. Performing gay marriages. We don't hear about 'em for the same reason we don't hear about all the protests against black-on-black violence or the many, many Muslim clerics and leaders who condemn violence. The media don't carry it because it don't get people worked up and yelling.
No, we don't hear about them ...not for the reason you propose but because people who accept other people's lifestyle, or religion or whatever do so without fanfare simply so long as we are just required to accept it and not have to believe in it which is what those Gay parades are about or muslims who preach.... convert or loose your heads.... and yes...bible thumpers who preach fire and brimstone
