With the exception of the US all of Iran's adversaries can be reached with Intermediate Ballistic Missiles. ICBMs are only necessary if Iran wants to reach out to the western hemisphere and put the hurt on someone. Iran has no adversaries in the western hemisphere other than the US. Who else in the western hemisphere do you think Iran feels it necessary to reach out and touch?
You think culture and "acceptability" over ride someone's own nature, who they are? That's willful blindness if that's your approach.

What is a "normal" person anyway? You think everybody is the same? They are not. Besides which is marriage not something that most "normal" persons participate in? Don't most "normal" couples do things like go out to dinner, enjoy a vacation together? I don't consider public hangings to be at all normal, I find it quite horrific.
And any parent who would take the life of their own child deserves to burn in whatever hell the afterlife, if there is one, has set out for them. If there is one person in the entire world whom one should love unconditionally, it should be your child. And murder is not an act of love, it's an act of hate. If anyone is putting things like tradition and culture over their own child, they have seriously out of whack priorities.
Roughly 10% of our species are born that way. You can kill 'em off but they'll just keep coming. I can't imagine what horrible harm they are doing to the Persians and Arabs.
That's a good question - what is "normal?" Your normal and mine may not jive but that's what makes each and every one of us unique (in the eyes of God/Allah). We humans are not infallible; we're not perfect - only God is perfect.
Isn't there somewhere in the "good book(s)" that says something about judge not lest yea be judged or those who throw the first stone....blah blah something along the same line? Who are you to judge anyone, especially homosexuals?
Its unfathomable to me that someone (be it an individual, a "culture" or a country) would decide whether you are worthy of life for simply being who God made you to be. And, its plain ignorance to state that a homosexual can simply change.
I think Mahan that you and those of your ilk need to brush up on your medical knowledge. There have been numerous studies that state that these individuals, and I might add, these extremely talented and smart individuals, are born that way and can't change even if they wanted to. No one yet knows why they are born that way, but who cares? Every gay person that I know is not only smart and talented, but are compassionate and caring. EVERY SINGLE ONE!!
So, Mahan since you have access to the internet, do some searching; study the brain and how it works in both hetro and homosexuals. Take it upon yourself to educate and learn instead of listening to mullahs who are narrow-minded and ignorant and accepting that what they say is true. THINK FOR YOURSELF!!
