Have to include alcoholics in that one. Also prescription uppers and downers. Those are the three biggies for people that need a chemical crutch.

Don't forget pop/soda, coffee / tea and candies and food or lotto tickets, or shopping, or any of the millions of other activities people use to get by, to get high, to help make life more enjoyable. All of which for some people get out of control, while for others they don't.

Some people NEED to jump off bridges, engage in crime, ride a motor cycle at 300km/h, ski off cliffs or life sucks for them. Poor bastards.

You've never heard of piss tests for trades and even management? So nobody is "still getting sh-t done."

If there is an accident or injury on a job site EVERYBODY gets piss tested.

Enough of your BS, so AMSCRAY OSERLAY!!!

Not for every trade. Not for every union. And usually only when you f*ck up.

It's rare there isn't pre-employment piss tests.

My hubby works at the Vancouver shipyard. Union. No piss tests before, during. Only if you get injured and then only you are tested. That's through WCB though.

They didn't mention Steven Jobs. I've known people in many trades and arts who smoked, including on the job: fallers, log house builders, road surveyors, carpenters, electricians, mechanics, etc. Some people get baked and some get energetic and creative. But, haters gotta hate, even some self proclaimed tokers gotta hate just cuz they be like belligerent azzholes.

And I am sure their work was top rate too.

You wouldn't know unless you try. Unless you've tried, you have nothing to add to the conversation but an uneducated opinion and/or second hand BS propaganda.

First off, what makes you think we haven't at some point tried it? Pretty arrogant to assume anybody who has tried weed will instantly want to become a pothead.

Or are you suggesting we try going to work stoned?
