yeah, constructive criticism is good, but the word stupid doesn't ever fit into that thought, the
things you mentioned are 'mistakes', and 'wrong decisions', by plAyers, doesn't make them stupid,
gmes are won and lost sometimes on a mistake by a goalie or any other player, none of them are stupid,
or they would not have made the team to begin with.

You're right, I probably misspoke, never meant the player was stupid, just the misplay. I do stupid things myself sometimes but I don't think they necessarily make me a bad person.

you are neither bad or stupid, i am very sensitive about the use of 'that' word, i think we cleared
the air.

Maybe them Ducks are out of steam, the first round may be the end of them.

well, getzlaf didn't plAy again, seems he is nursing some kind of injury, he has missed games on and
off lately.

dallas has played out of their minds since they were elliminated from the playoffs, definitely takes
a lot of tension and stress out of a team, they play with a new type of energy, we cAn beat anybody,
just watch us, which is actually how all teams should play, but when tension and stress come into the
gAme, that interferes with A few thoughts, just a human trait, shows in the game of golf big time.

Couldn't agree more, Edmonton and Columbus have more or less proved that theory!

They can afford to take a lot more chances!

I hope tonight against the Coyotes they play an aggressive free wheeling game, while not taking unnecessary risks, they just keep heading for the net and blasting lots of shots and don't worry about a goal or two from the opponent.

thats not the way desjardin will want them to play tonight or any other night, open free wheeling hockey
is fun to watch, but the canucks are not a fast team, and getting into that style of play isn't really
smart.
arizona have some young fast players, who would love to be freewheeling it up and down the ice, but
canucks can't let them do that, from time to time the play might open up a bit, then settle back down
again, with more defensive responsibility.

canucks have to get enough shots to make the game good, and give them scoring chances, and hopefully their goalie isn't playing lights
out again, as he can do that, just like lack can.

i hope the twins continue to play better, as they did last game, the team
needs that.

Just keeping my fingers crossed right now that the Senators will be "in" and Bruins will be golfing in the snow around Boston. :) :)

Right now 3-1 Florida and 2-0 Calgary. Very interesting.

Could be Luongo's payback.

i think ottawa have to be carefull of the ROW column if they end up tied with somebody.l

yeah, florida are out of the playoffs, but would be niceif they take boston down with them.

Probably the best Canuck game of the year! If they just play 16 more like that one in the playoffs, then "Bob's your uncle"!

I thought Calgary was supposed to be the faster team! I don't see it.

They may be fast but their goony play didn't help them. Vancouver had better forwards and a better goal tender.

Calgary took a pile of stupid penalties that cost them any chance they had of coming back.

I think it will probably be over in 5- the underdog often takes the first one!

Flames will be on the golf course in a week or so. Hope the snow is off the Calgary golf courses. :) :) :)

your'e hoping, maybe you will be on the golf course in a week or so. lol
first game calgary taught canucks a lesson, second gAme other way around, i don't have
any conclusions from that.

its a good thing these two teams are playing each other, cause if they were each playing another team,
they would both be on the golf course in a week or so, at least this way, one of them will survive.

;-)The Canucks hadn't beaten the Flames in a couple years of play-offs. . In the first game this year, They came out strong, got the first goal, but couldn't sustain the fight and lost it in the third period. In the second game, they came out strong again but held onto their composure and won in what was almost a rout.....allowing just one goal against. I think there is a good chance Vancouver will win this series. They might not, but we'll see......

the first period of the first game canucks were awsome, and calgary was trying to adjust to playoffs,
canucks had many top quality scoring chances, too bad they didn't score at least 3 of those chances,
then game probably would have been their's to win, second game they did score a couple in the first
period, and didn't cave in, in the last period.

will be interesting to see just how things go in calgary, i think hartley will coach for a rough game,
and try to get canucks off of their rhythum, and out of sync, but desjardin will have his own
thoughts to counteract that style.

should be fun, the rough stuff is expected in playoffs, high tension, high stakes, and they all, including
the coaches want to win, and will try to find a way, just look at what subban did to stone the other
day, his wrist is injured, slight fracture, but i guess they taped him up, and out he went to play,
they want to play if they can stand up, they are all gAme.
stone has been ottawa's best player of late.

Talloola- To put things in proper prospective pay close attention to this. They've played 120 minutes of hockey so far. Calgary has held the lead for 30 seconds- the rest of the time the Canucks were even or ahead. That should be all the clues you need. :) :) :) :) (not trying to ruin your day)
