You're not a Christian are you? So why play games with Christians about their deity? That doesn't seem fair. Why don't you aks Moneto why he didn't save his people instead.
The topic of this thread is hypocrisy. The fundamentalist Christian right represents everything that is opposite to the teachings of Jesus. The right is hypocrisy. I'm not playing games with Christians. I'm just pointing out the obvious, which for some strange reason escapes them.
They are pointing out the obvious hypocrisy in you, and for some strange reason it escapes you too.
No one has the ability to recognize their own faults, but are very ready to point others theirs.
It's like I've said before.
Some people look within for changes to a problem. (Things you control)
And others look to the outside for change to a problem. (Things you can't control)
Maybe if you worried more about you're own hypocrisy (something you have the power to change)
And less about other people's hypocrisy (something you have no control to change)
The world could have a chance at being better.
You're one of the biggest... if not THE biggest hypocrites in here Cliffy so it is funny watching you flap your gums about any of this. Yet somehow your hypocrisy escapes you.

I am sure a history of North America would be unrecognizable to most of us depending on the group that wrote it.
The problem is the old quote-if we don't learn from history-we are doomed to repeat it.
Who we choose to believe /trust makes all the difference in the world.
Last year i read "Untold History Of the United States" by Viet Nam vet & movie producer Oliver Stone along with an award winning historian-Peter Kushnick.
I then went out and looked for everything trying to trash it .I was skeptical and thought there would be some lawsuits.Funny thing is the basic narrative was not challenged.What i take from it is that just about every country in the world are lying,murderous hypocritical b*stards.As America has been a world leader and military and economic powerhouse-it is fair to assume that they have been the worst.It is a reminder that things like these boards despite all the LCD-(lowest common denominator) stuff- is the basics for making it better in the future.
BTW-did i miss Bob Rae going back to NDP?-He can't get a break from history.His Ontario was like Obama's -the economy that keeps screwing your good intentions. The guy who wrote the headline "lefty"? hidden agendas everywhere-some really really subtle...
I haven't read the book, but who would have the standing to sue?
Hint: As a matter of law, it is not possible to defame the dead.
Another hint: The reason politicians don't sue for libel is that if they did, they would have no time for anything else. Ergo, the argument "Nobody sued, so it must all be true!" is naive at best.

Of course i am a hypocrite-it is part of every human. But what i said is we all are.Unless you consider yourself the one person above hypocrisy?
I'll consider this a successful post if all you have to say is stuff we all already know.
