Yep.

From each according to his ability, to each according to his need

rapidly becomes

From each as little as possible, to each as much as they can scam.
Exactly-and we are diverted by the small time welfare cheats while our esteemed rich rape and pillage.!9@9 crash was the forerunner of the 2008 crash.Yet not one prominent economy killer did jail time-barring the odd"Bernie Madoff" lone wolf who was actually crazy enough to think he could rip off the rich

Ok Bones what is that 'equal' amount?A flat tax of 10% or 50%?
Ten % of 100,000 is a hell of a lot less 10% of 50 million. Don't think some guy who worked hard to get a business going would like that formula.

But if both pay 10% its fair. Right now the percentage slides with the more you make, the more you give the government. I think a flat 10-15 or even 20% is the way to go with no deductions or rebates to anybody. I like your idea of a 0% on all income below a certain level.

I'll bet none of the neighbor kids trample your lawn.It sounds like you'd turn em into mulch.
There is still plenty of good kids that want to work for a better life.We owe it to them to get a level playing field and unloaded dice.

Like your "fluttershy"there is a lot of distraction and movement-but you aint goin anywhere
Going somewhere is not the purpose of dancing.

If you ever want to quit discussing Fluttershy and get back on topic, I'm OK with that.

you can stop driving-i understand what you are saying. Now we need your personal philosophy

Personal philosophy? Easy, perpetually gouging 1 or 2 income classes is neither equal nor is it fair.

Bottom line; live within your leans as individuals and a society

If I can't have the mostly tax-free status I enjoy now, or a nice regressive tax system, I guess I can live with equal.

Let's see. . . $3.7 trillion divided by 310 million punkins equals. . . $11,935.48. Call it 12K. Plus state tax, county tax, city tax, head tax, thumb tax, and upholstery tax.

Yowzers.

Such is the cost of wanting all the bennies available

The Soviet Union is a great model for how communism works. First you ban all critical thought. Then you tell kids to rat on their parents if they say anything bad about the government. Then you say, there are no classes of people, but really there are. Upper class and peasantry, always has, always will. But don't talk about it.
You are right there will always be peasantry. But do we want a disease ridden, malcontent, angry abused peasants or ones who live a decent productive life on their peasants income?
Your comments on communism leads me to think you have a simple world view. Our propaganda is at least as good as theirs.
Google Einstein's 48/49 opinion piece"Why socialism?)Yes,arguably one of the greatest minds in history was a firm socialist. He makes reference to the fact that anything "leftist"was a poisoned well by our propaganda.
Truth is most people have no idea of the difference between any of the "isms" including capital ism.Secret police don't give a crap whether you are right ,left or centre-just if your leaders check clears...

Going somewhere is not the purpose of dancing.

good I want to pay none, like you
I'm perfectly OK with that. You do understand, I hope, that if everybody pays no taxes, you will have no government services, right?

Well, except such services as may be provided gratis by volunteers.

I'm gonna rename it circle fly and you know why .Please stop buzzing around my head ...
You asked questions. I gave answers. You apparently didn't like, or possibly didn't understand, the answers.

No need to get tetchy about it.

Easily the stupidest thing I've read, and stop propping up false ideologies that don't exist and that you wouldn't benefit from if they did.
Hang in there-after all -you started this post. When i see your avatar of Che-i know you have done some homework.A lot of people have no idea who he really was and what he stood for.
Western world propaganda -would have you think he was some scruffy socialist.Like Stan Rodger's song to McDonnel-"not one in ten thousand knows your name.A brilliant ,courageous medical doctor who told his killer"shoot coward -you are only killing a man!'.It can be frustrating arguing with others-especially when they have tunnel vision.Hang in -this board needs you...

That must be why you continue to reply to me despite your contention that it complicates your juggling.

I see that you have no real interest in addressing 'fair' or 'equal'... Is this where you launch into the rhetoric about 'The People'?
Sorry-would you like to buy a pony?Since you won't speak your mind,i'll speak mine.Taxation is a tool of government policy.Like anything else-thru time they evolve.Fair taxation to me is like the old line about the taxman. It is kinda like this...

Taxation is the art of plucking the most feathers possible from the golden goose while provoking the least amount of hissing.
If everybody is slightly angry-we have probably come as close to fair as possible.
In a philosophy sense-no your last jab didn't land.I think hard work and sacrifice should be rewarded.

I think people with more skills and knowledge than me should be paid a lot more than me.As far as possible in our hypocritical society-we should try to make a level playing field.I am not a fan of "crony' capitalism with socialism for the rich and capitalism for the poor. You may now attack...

More rhetoric I see... At least you're consistent in presenting a nothing message every time
Like drugs all being medicine-we are all dealing rhetoric here. How much plainer could i be about fair taxes?I am still waiting for your definition of fair taxes and i excuse you your rudeness because if you can't grasp it-it is indeed a nothing message-to you....

You flatter me-far better men originated it.I will take it as a compliment that you agree with my agreement.Evolution works because it adjusts to everything.I am not smart enough to know all the ramifications of taxes-hell voodoo economics is what it should be called.Smart govts are flexible and when the scams are at a minimum and they change bad policies of every type-we will all have a decent life.

.

And you still dance around... On multiple occasions I have indicated that 'fair' is fully subjective and have yet to get any form of tangible explanation in return

Want a 'fair' and equal system, Consumption Based taxes with a set % for all

Now, you have any input other than rhetoric?

Ok, just point out where in Marxist philosophy it talks about banning critical thought, being critical of government is prohibited and talks about how there "are no classes of people". LOL.

Yes. It's ironic when Americans criticize him of being a murderer. I have to wonder "Do you know what your ****ing government has done?" Enough of the hypocrisy.

Almost as ironic when you criticize the American government for killing people. Do you know what your government has done?

If every American is personally responsible for everything America has ever done, then every Canadian is responsible for everything Canada has ever done.

And spare me the "we're not as bad as you" whine. Murderer's a murderer, whether he murdered one or a hundred.
