That global temperatures are rising is beyond question. What is in question, is when we are going to do something about it. The rising of global temperatures come with a flywheel effect. If we stopped producing green house gas today, temperatures would still continue to rise for some time. We eventually get to a point of no return where it is too late to stop and temperatures rise to a critical level that will do us some real dirt and we can't blame anyone but ourselves.

Yes we are. Or are you denying that as well now?

Seriously, it's like shooting fish in a barrel wiht you. It's almost too easy.

Well, this is about all I would expect from someone as simplistic as you. I guess when you can't refute the statement, you don't have a choice but to fall back to your kindergarten "insults" and mentality.

Angry and stoopid is no way to go thru life, son.

I was merely pointing out that, yes, in all likelihood, we are all going to die. I thought that was obvious, but apparently, even taking into account your gargantuan imbecility, I still managed to overestimate your intellligence.

I think you owe me an apology.

It's clear that Global Temperatures and NOT rising. The AGW cult selectively chooses warm weather phenomenon, and excludes cold weather to legitimize its claims. It managed to ignore the coldest winter in a century in North America.. AND the advancing ice shelves in Antarctica.

AGW is not a science. It is a political and philosophical agenda without an ounce of scientific merit.

It is being propelled by lies, fearmongering, sentiment, demonization of opponents.. beware.. no legitimate program except those that harbinger the onset of a tyranny are promoted by this.

Francis has been such a disappointment.

Benedict XVI had the intellect to see the ulterior motives of the AGW cult and its occult underpinnings, which form a nexus with psuedoscience, evil and human degradation.... Francis apparently does not.

“The monopolising of lands, deforestation, the appropriation of water, inadequate agro-toxics are some of the evils that tear man from the land of his birth. Climate change, the loss of biodiversity and deforestation are already showing their devastating effects in the great cataclysms we witness”
-Pope Francis

At least on this issue, he applauds the science. Now, back to Galileo...

.

I heard that the terrible winter storms back east this winter cost $4 billion dollars. What an utter waste of money. If anything they did more harm than good.

I've never, in the numerous posts i've written on the topic, discarded RESPONSIBLE environmentalism as an admirable objective.. but involving a complex system of tradeoffs between economic necessity and ecological custodianship.

My problem with Francis is his sentiment drenched, simplistic views on the issue seem completely befuddled and credulous to the vicious anti-human (and anti human population) prejudice of radical environmentalism which is irreconcilable to Catholic social and moral teaching.
