haha! a university education gives you a license to learn, it most certainly does not make you overqualified for any job.

Let's push it back to after the Leafs win the Stanley Cup. I want to live forever (although I am technically not a Boomer ... I am without a generation).
Many things but I dare say it may be a little over your head. Cell phones, SCADA systems, on line monitoring systems and remote alarming allow me to do more in the same amount of time. The job I currently do was done by 2.5 employees only 15 years ago. I have flexible hours so I can work when it suits me or the job. I'm home right now but am heading to work at 6:00 because that is the best time to do the particular task I have to do. I get paid to be on call and I can choose to bank that time and take it off if I so choose. I have a great job and happy employees are productive employees. Now, that's me personally. I can't answer that question for everybody but clearly, we are working less as a society and producing more.

They are preparing for the present and the future just like the last one.
Our grand kids and there are 24 of them now are doing just fine. The
older ones are doing well. Nine of the twenty four are in the workforce
We have finishing carpenters, firemen (2) an electrician and isolation
specialist a mechanic and one is a council for Canadian Mental Health
Association. Some are also in sales and one with their own business.
They all vote, they take part in community things. A couple have small
kids that land on my doorstep on weekends and they don't bitch about
what the don't have
One grand daughter spent part of spring break living with us and working
with me she thinks she might like to be a farmer. All too often parents and
grandparents spend time but not quality time with kids and wonder why
they have no guidance hmmmmmm I do see a problem here and its not the
kids in many cases
