Clearly... the funding of testimony given by academics has value... but to who? Those seven individuals have been on the U.S. Republicans regular go-to list for years, to give testimony before an assortment of U.S. Congressional Committees. The U.S. politician (Democratic) has stated: "I want the disclosure of funding sources. Then people can draw their own conclusions."
presumably the requested disclosure, if provided, comes directly from the targeted individuals themselves and/or via their academic institute attachments. Is there a problem... in allowing people to draw their own conclusions?
