You've had all your shots havn't you?

She named the baby Griffin because she is srtupid and dosn't know what a griffin is.

Yes I have. Don't really care what she named her kid or how ugly or not ugly he is. He has no choice and because of the shear stupidity of some a-hole on 2 counts (not being vaccinated and going out in public with measles) he may suffer.

So you are stupid and arrogant enough to not get vaccinated, why go to a firkin doctor when you know that is what you have? It's your f-u-c-k-ing choice. Suck it up and deal with your own consequences. Its not like the doctor has a cure anyways.

No the anti-vaxer who also ignored measles protocols is the idiot (on 2 counts).
Since the carrier was never identified it, could be mom or grandma or the staff who weighed the baby.

This is an emotional mom parading herself around as if she was a medical professional, she isn't and it was her actions that put her and her baby into self induced isolation.

Today looking at anything but the promoted view fits that term. A reporter was just canned for 6 months for publishing an article that was untrue. Another case had a reporter fired because their true report on meds and milk-cows war detrimental to the manufacturers of said meds.

In February 2003, a Florida Court of Appeals unanimously agreed with an assertion by FOX News that there is no rule against distorting or falsifying the news in the United States.
Back in December of 1996, Jane Akre and her husband, Steve Wilson, were hired by FOX as a part of the Fox “Investigators” team at WTVT in Tampa Bay, Florida. In 1997 the team began work on a story about bovine growth hormone (BGH), a controversial substance manufactured by Monsanto Corporation. The couple produced a four-part series revealing that there were many health risks related to BGH and that Florida supermarket chains did little to avoid selling milk from cows treated with the hormone, despite assuring customers otherwise.
According to Akre and Wilson, the station was initially very excited about the series. But within a week, Fox executives and their attorneys wanted the reporters to use statements from Monsanto representatives that the reporters knew were false and to make other revisions to the story that were in direct conflict with the facts. Fox editors then tried to force Akre and Wilson to continue to produce the distorted story. When they refused and threatened to report Fox’s actions to the FCC, they were both fired.(Project Censored #12 1997)

Emotions separate us from the lower animal kingdom so ditching the higher emotions is a step back down the evolution trail rather than the step ahead as would be taught by something as benign as the IDF.

That feeling of stepping away from this thread evaporated when I read the post I just replied to. More to come no doubt.

Never mind trying to "out Sherlock" anyone, just get the F**king shot if you haven't already and let people listen to their doctors advice. Contrary to the idiots in Ontario awhile back who figured they knew more than the doctors about treating leukemia and as a result their daughter died........................perhaps unnecessarily.

Likely??

Well she doesn't know that people can be carriers without getting the 'infection' that part is very clear. Her post is emotional, there is no dat included, as I just recently pointed out after the conspiracy bull**** hit the thread.

This is what her daughter died of that she is using as the 'crawl over broken glass' part of her post.
Septicemia: Causes, Symptoms & Complications

While septicemia is rare, it is also a very serious condition that can quickly become life threatening if there is any significant delay in treatment. It is often fatal. According to the University of Maryland Medical Center, the mortality rate is higher than 50 percent in some cases.
Complications of Septicemia

Septicemia has a number of serious complications. If left untreated, it can be fatal.
Septic Shock

One complication of septicemia is a serious drop in blood pressure, called septic shock. Toxins released by the bacteria in the bloodstream can cause extremely low blood flow, which may result in organ or tissue damage. Septic shock is a medical emergency. People with septic shock are usually cared for in a hospital’s intensive care unit. Someone who is experiencing septic shock may need to be put on a ventilator (breathing machine). Septicemia that leads to septic shock has a death rate as high as 50 percent (Johns Hopkins).
ARDS

A second complication of septicemia is acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), a life-threatening condition that prevents enough oxygen from reaching the lungs and blood. According to the National Institutes of Health, ARDS is fatal in about one-third of cases. It often results in some level of permanent lung damage. It can also damage the brain. This can very easily lead to problems with memory (NIH, 2012).

How Is Septicemia Diagnosed?

To diagnose septicemia, your doctor will evaluate your symptoms and medical history before performing a physical examination to look for low blood pressure or body temperature. The doctor can also look for signs of conditions that often occur in conjunction with septicemia. These conditions include pneumonia, meningitis, and cellulitis.
Your doctor may perform cultures on urine, blood, and skin sore samples toconfirm bacterial infection.
Some tests that may be performed include:

  • blood cell and platelet counts
  • tests to analyze blood clotting
  • tests to analyze oxygen and carbon dioxide levels in the blood (if septicemia is causing breathing issues)

Treatment for Septicemia

Septicemia is a medical emergency that must be treated at a hospital. Many people with septicemia are admitted to a hospital’s intensive care unit (ICU) for treatment and recovery. Treatment depends on several factors, including:

  • age and overall health
  • the extent of your condition
  • tolerance for certain medications
Antibiotics will be used to treat the bacterial infection that is causing septicemia.
Fluids and other medications may be administered intravenously to maintain blood pressure or to prevent blood clots from forming. Oxygen may also be given through a mask or ventilator if you experience breathing issues as a result of septicemia.

So far nobody has said she or her family shouldn't get vaccinated, the fact is if she wasn't there for something as 'serious' as the weigt of the infant then they would not be in the isolation that they are in. Since the baby is still not protected why would she end that isolation when the 'disease' is still traveling through the community. As a parent I would do what the DR suggested as it is not my life that is at risk. For myself the shot would be the first step, I would also do a few other thing that might help.

For this link it would make figs a daily treat, somewhat short of taking apart the current heath care system.

I think at this time people should take the proven steps to protect themselves from the disease and then have the philosophical discussions later. We know what works for sure and what might not work. Why f**k around? :)

When you investigate yourself that isn't an investigation at all.
I would certainly never suggest any member of the board or public avoid going to the DR for any number of reasons. So what is your point of this bull****. Some distraught mother who will take her un-vaccinated child out into the same world she is hiding from now. What is the point of that anyway, if they have been exposed isolation isn't going to help them and if they haven't then the short isolation period means the danger is just as real as it was at the clinic, maybe even more so.
Is that going to factor into her 'daily travel plans'?

Since the death of her other child was 'unexpected' I hope she didn't get a vaccination shot shortly before she caught the deadly disease.

Sepsis or Septicemia (Blood Infection) Symptoms, Causes, Treatments
Sepsis Causes and Risk Factors

Bacterial infections are the most common cause of sepsis. However, sepsis can also be caused by other infections. The infection can begin anywhere bacteria or other infectious agents can enter the body. It can result from something as seemingly harmless as a scraped knee or nicked cuticle or from a more serious medical problem such as appendicitis, pneumonia, meningitis, or a urinary tract infection.
Sepsis may accompany infection of the bone, called osteomyelitis. In hospitalized patients, common sites of initial infection include IV lines, surgical incisions, urinary catheters, and bed sores.
Although anyone can get sepsis, certain groups of people are at greater risk. They include:

  • People whose immune systems are not functioning well due to illnesses such as HIV/AIDS or cancer or use of drugs that suppress the immune system, such as steroids and those used to prevent rejection of transplanted organs
  • Very young babies
  • The elderly, particularly if they have other health problems
  • People who have recently been hospitalized and/or had invasive medical procedures
  • People with diabetes

I think she is well within her rights to cast blame where she does. "Sour" seems a rather petty description, this is a mother who has already lost a child and is faced with the possibility (irrespective of how remote that may be) of potentially losing another from something that was nearly 100% preventable.

Her 3 yr old is not up to date with her vaccinations, which makes me wonder if SHE is up to date with her own. The saying, "me thinks she dost protest too much", is coming to mind.

No the anti-vaxer who also ignored measles protocols is the idiot (on 2 counts).

The carrier was a young man that was up to date with his shots and had been in the doctors office about an hour and a half to 2 hours before her and her baby.

Then he is only an idiot on 1 count. If you have the measles you are supposed to call ahead so you can be processed without spreading the virus.

It was 2 weeks before she got the call,

Measles is probably one of the most infectious * diseases known. It occurs mostly among children, and mostly in crowded areas, like cities. A person catches measles by breathing in infected droplets that someone with the disease has coughed or sneezed out. It is possible to catch measles simply by being in a room where another person who has the disease has been. For this reason, measles often spreads quickly in a family or in a classroom. People who have measles are infectious from about 5 days after they have been exposed to the virus until 5 days after the rash appears.
