Neither is posting opposite stories, pretty much makes you a liar and a bad one at that.Incoherence is not a virtue.
Talk is cheap. Action has real meaning. There are many people who live under a roof today, and many folks who own their own homes today because of my charitable actions. I've organized separate charitable tax exempt foundations to fight homelessness and to help people get into their own homes. I've fundraised for these charities. I've touched many lives in positive ways. What have you done?
Not my problem. There are children sleeping under bridges in America. I'm concerned about them. There is only so much compassion in any individual heart. Spreading it around carelessly dilutes its strength.
Ever use mooseburger? You will never go back.Made around a quarter tonne of chili over several years.

Let's say you were part of a selective group and all your charity and 'compassion' was directed in that direction and that direction only,
that would certainly fit you 'noble charities' claim but it comes to nothing if you drive by the homeless on your way to spread you charity to 'your friends'. Christ put it like this.
...
Tax exempt usually means some Church like the RCC or anything the Jews have set up for donations to fund the homeland. Is that where you money ended up?

They don't let you play with strangers very often do they. Thanks for your opinion. I'll give it all the consideration it merits.
They could do that and as long as a small percentage of what is taken in. The Red Cross used to be such an organization that was doing quite a bit of quality programs in getting the donation to the 'poor'. By the time Haiti and the quake came along about 80% of the donations went to admin fees, like salaries in the $100,000+ range. Some are total fly by nights and others, like the SallyAnn use the local funds donated in the community where they were donated first and then some goes into a common pool that gets spread around. The ones sending money to Israel are used for such projects as building settlements in something called the 'occupied territories which is technically a war crime so they should be in a docket in the Hague as co-defendants.If limited as you suggest the charitable organization couldn't obtain Section 501(c)(3) tax exempt status. As a result, it's fundraising would be constrained and it would be less effective in pursuing its eleemosynary purpose.
Some charities such as the Church goes to support the whole Church so funds in the US could be used in a misssion in ths bush country someplace in Africa.Expending funds exclusively on behalf of one's friends constitutes grounds for revocation of a charitable organization's tax exempt status.
The RCC gets billions from the poor and then hands out millions, you guessed it, the rest goes to admin fees. The ones sending money to Israel are used for such projects as building settlements in something called the 'occupied territories which is technically a war crime so they should be in a docket in the Hague as co-defendants.Not one red cent.
Only as a mugger deterrent. The police still list them as a house-hold item and they take batons and bear-spray. I often wonder if they are being a bit sarcastic when they say, 'keep it clean.'Ever use soap on a rope? You'll never get the chance to go back.
Do you have Dick on your mind MHz.. ??

In your case bison would be the lean meat you want, saves having to skim off the rendered fat but then you have to go and buy the manufactured kind called Vaseline. I can understand why they don't put 'May contain pork by-products'. I wonder if there is a kosher version of that product.
You tell me, I'm the stranger in the remark and so far I don't feel threatened or impressed. Other than the part about me not being very nice. I can end up that way in a thread, I don't start out that way unless I already know the poster, I still consider you a stranger so I haven't even started taking shots at you other than ones that help me know you a bit better as you keep those cards close to your chest for some unknown reason. Not that big of a deal at the moment and I don't really see you becoming all that important in my daily life. Any of the emotional detachment posts making it inside your skull? Is that a question or a declaration? In either event, thanks for the attention.
Lots of religious people only donate to their own group, I doubt very much they follow the donations after that. You are keeping that area a bit of a mystery so I'm making general comments rather than specific onesBut that's not what you said in post no. 22 where you stated:
"Let's say you were part of a selective group and all your charity and 'compassion' was directed in that direction and that direction only,..."

I have no idea. I don't donate to Churches but I know donations are tax exempt, same as political contributions. So what? Churches receive special treatment under Section 501(c)(3).
So, at least I try and do full replies.Ranting.
You should just make that your signature, save you about 130 minutes every year if you post it as often as you have on this thread. Thanks for your opinion. I'll give it all the consideration it merits.

Never to the point I didn't reply to each sentence he spoke. You seem to be forward enough to address certain issues, the ones skipped I'll stop demanding a reply to and leave your reason a mystery.Did you ever chat with a stranger in passing?
Now you know why 'very good' is not the same as perfect/ If you have a method of making something perfect and then improving it later I'm sure God would like your input. Till then, buckle up the bumpy parts are still ahead.
Think of it as you building a complex car and taking it for a test drive to work out the bugs before the final paint job.
This earth is a seed bank for the new earth. All flesh that was created on this earth will be alive in the new earth, go ahead and improve on that.
Theology isn't your strong suit is it?
