This has been gone over, more than once, our guys had been fired upon. Obviously you DON'T know what combat means and obviously you would rather see our guys get shot and killed instead of defending themselves.

No, dumba$$, he didn't lie. Our guys on the ground are NOT in a combat role. They got fired on, when they were training, and they fired back. Whoop de doo.
The only ones that are "fu cking stupid" would be those like you that figured sending our special forces guys to Iraq would mean they were on a vacation and didn't have to worry about getting fired upon.
With C-51 the anti-terror soon to be law the big question is will there be a federal election? Will the government just decide that it is too dangerous to have one in the time of war? Anyone who disagrees with the government might be treated as a terrorist. Any public sector union that strikes can be viewed as a terrorist act. Elections are important to maintain democracy.
