Your present mayor of London is an American.

Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson was born in New York City to British parents because his father went to Yankeeland to study creative writing at Iowa State University. He was given American citizenship as well as British citizenship merely because his birth was registered with both the Yankeeland authorities and the city's British Consulate.

He is of mixed ancestry. Apart from British ancestry, he also has French, Turkish, Russian and German ancestry and calls himself a "one-man melting pot."

Being a Briton who also holds a Yankeeland passport means that he is eligible to run for President of Yankeeland, and there have been those who have been calling for him to run. It would be nice to see a Brit run Yankeeland again.

And the head of the Brit banking system is a Canadian.
And the head of the Canadian one was British between 1987 and 1994.

Wrong, but nice try. He was given American citizenship because the Fourteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution reads, in pertinent part. . .

"All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside."
U.S. Const., Amdt. XIV, sec. 1.

I like Boris. Despite being a Yankeeland citizen because his birth was registered with both the Yankeeland authorities and the city's British Consulate, he refuses to pay his hefty Yank tax bill. I see it as Boris's way of getting the Yanks back for the millions of pounds US embassy officials in London have refused to pay in London congestion charges.

12 years as governor means that he had plenty of support from Republicans or he would never have won reelection that often. Republicans gave him 53% of their votes so that tells you they agreed he was not the liberal you delusionals claim he was.

Since you are changing the subject that means you are conceding Cuomo was not the liberal you claim he was. 53% of the Republican vote proves my point.

I no longer live in NY so that my knowledge of its current politics is limited to what I get online. But I lived in that state during Cuomo's years and can speak for what happened then.

It wasn't Cuomo's job to galvanize anyone as he was in no position to do so. That's the DNC's chairman's job as anyone with even the most elementary knowledge of politics knows.
