I don't know much about most of the stuff he is talking about......but the "lowest growth in gov't spending since Eisenhower" is simply hilarious!!

Talk about spin.

When Obama took office in January of 2009 the debt was 10.6 trillion dollars.

It is now almost 18 Trillion dollars.
There are two ways to build debt. One is to increase spending. The other is to decrease revenues.

For those who lack the wit to understand this basic concept, I recommend avoiding economics.

There is only one way to build debt: spend more than you bring in. Leave economics to those wearing long pants.

The Administration was so slow in response to the BP Oil Spill. Far worse than Katrina... as was they were to Hurricane Sandy. Obama took it on the chin with the BP Oil Spill for his delayed reaction. Obama showed up late and only when he had to.

And the governments help you say? That is the Peoples Money... it is not the Government's money. The money they used was money derived from taxes and fees. That is one thing that Democrats and Liberals can never understand... it is not your money. The Democrats think they are doing people favors when they give back.

The oil disaster took place April 20, 2010. The Coast Guard was there by the next day. But it took until the 29th before the state's Republican governor declared a state of emergency.

As for Bush and Katrina - his "you're doing a great job, Brownie" is too pathetic to defend in any way.

In a democracy the people are the government.

Wow... the Coast Guard showing up at a coastal emergency quickly. Isn't that what their supposed to be doing?

Yes he did... and Obama shows up in May! The administrations handling of the BP Oil Spill was far worse than Katrina.

The people are the government? What do you mean by that?

Hillary Clinton's campaign appearances on behalf of Landrieu cost the Democrats the Senate seat. Now there are no Democrats representing any of the traditional Deep South states.

Sweet.... So, how about thinking of expanding the cartoons section?

I will give it some thought just as long as everyone remembers... it's MY OWN SITE.

The great part of this all was that the hard core Obamatrons believe the Democrats got bounced for not being more to the left and running away from Obama's policies. I am selfishly calling on all Democrats to run in 2016 on those principles. You can never have too many liberals packing their offices and heading away from Washington.

But that's just it - those idiots didn't!

Addicting Info – The Stark Difference Between The Obama Recovery and The Bush Presidency Is Staggering

ACA and the economy are working. But somehow this is viewed as "failure". Why? Because the Dumbocrats are too stupid to use the truths about these successes in their campaigns. Silence is death. But if that's the course that they want, then so be it. Put another Republican in thew White House and we'll have another war. Don't say I didn't tell you so.

Because it IS a failure! That is why they won't even fully enact their own law because it is such a failure. That is why they postpone parts the law repeatedly.

We'll have another war with a Republican in the WH?

Afghanistan continues... Iraq War 3... Libya... expansion of the wars into Africa, Pakistan...Syria. Geez Gopher!

At any rate... I hope that there are more and more of you to put pressure on the remaining Democrats in office to run on Obamacare and the necessity to move further left. To be loud and vocal on their support of Obama and his failed policies.

How is it a ''failure'' when the facts say otherwise: 4 New Studies: Obamacare Working Incredibly Well -- NYMag

The law is working, but again it's the stupidity of the Democrats in failing to use that success in their campaigns that caused them the loss of the election. And as we discussed previously, your state of Massachusetts has a very high approval rate for Romneycare just as have here in Gopherland.

Because the liberal rags will say whatever they will to promote the libtard agenda.

I love that spirit and thinking. I hope you and people like you can convince the remaining Dems and the next Dem. Presidential candidate to run on that.

My state and your state are blue states. They are liberal blue states and would back Obamacare to the ends of the earth rather than admit a mistake. Massachusetts has blown MILLIONS of dollars on the failed website alone and plans on blowing more. Rates are climbing and even with accepting all that "free" money our health care system is in shambles and is one of the most expensive in the country.

A little example on Massachusetts. The Governor lost $600K in taxpayer money in a failed investment of Evergreen Solar. Even after the loss he said it was a good investment and he'd do it again if he had the chance. That's Massachusetts! That's a liberal Blue State!

No matter whether one thinks Obama has been good or bad overall, there is no denying he is presiding over a level of division in this country that hasn't been seen since the Civil War.

I guess you missed the 50's and 60's a few decades back.

I guess you missed the 50's and 60's a few decades back.

What was different in the 50's and 60's? America in that era still had a unifying principle accepted by the majority of the residents of the United States. The unifying principle was based on acceptance of a shared culture and creed. Since that era America has become multicultural. Multiculturalism is the antithesis of unity. Look at multicultural societies. Are any of them unified? Is Canada unified? In this era shared culture doesn't exist in America, and therefore culture is not a unifying principle.

That leaves creed. In the last half century the ideal of individual liberty has been weakened as the Left captured institution after institution. The idea of equality before the law as a component of individual liberty has been replaced by equality of outcome in much of the country. However, individual liberty and equality of outcome are ideas which do not intersect. Thus, creed is being undone as a unifying principle. During the Depression things were desperate and dire for most Americans, but they still had a common culture, and the basics of a shared creed.

The Left is relentless in its crusade to transform America from what it was into something new and different. Barack Obama is the physical incarnation of that crusade. This crusade is increasingly opposed by the old traditional America that still subscribes to the idea of America as it was founded. Leftist relentlessness is opposed by an increasingly strong counter-revolution. That is why America is more divided today than at any time since the Civil War.

Gophers and Bay Staters have overwhelmingly said they approve of health care they got under Romney and Obama. As you know I suffer from serious health problems and got a whopping medical bill today - thankfully ACA covered most of it and I was left with only a tiny bill for pocket change. There is no reason why I shouldn't have the same coverage that is provided for FREE to Fortune 500 company employees. And unlike them, I paid my taxes for my health care coverage.
