I'm sure I've been told before that "First Nations" don't get special treatment what so ever.

oh ya, and you wanna see how "First Nations" perpetuate racism with their youth? Take a look at this APTN series.

well then, I guess everyone and their dog can now use what ever mumbo jumbo they want to non treat their kids. Or is this more of the "non existent" special treatment for injuns.
I think that's fair.

for everyone?
Sure, why not?

You have to love all the mixed race kids in that show. See the little blue eyed boy with a dirty blonde mohawk in the classroom scene, that could've literally been me as a kid.

To funny!

and you also notice the attitude towards non "pure bloods"? What the main characters Dad said about the one girls Mother who had left the reserve to marry a "whitey"? The attitude of the main character towards relationships with "white boys"?

Yep, that's why I thought it was funny. The irony was palpable. I wasn't really surprised to see that APTN produces garbage TV aimed at a specific demographic.

You know what else makes me laugh? If you reversed the roles and races, some Injins would lose their sh*t.

Lose their shirt is an understatement, as I have seen it happen.

I guess what hits close to home, is that my Grandmother could be the woman that left the reserve for her white "boyfriend". ostracized and stripped by her own "people". But, WTF eh, when injuns do it, it's a-ok.
