Was that hit on the head intentional or an accident? Intentional would be a lot of small blows, accidents involve metallic objects moving at speed so once is more than enough times to 'alter perspectives'. Not just in paths being routed around the damaged area but the 'gut reaction' that it would cause also is an injury that needs treatment. If you got burned it teaches respect for hot things, if it makes yo avoid them the the phobia is doing more than the task calls for. If you are like some you will love to play with fire and do it as safety as possible while accepting that if things do go wrong you have nobody to thank or blame than yourself. Danger is also relative, some people driving a golf kart wide open is showing more bravery than somebody who isn't satisfied with one that has 6 gears.
