I was born here. You're begging to get in. So you'll have to go a little extra.

I'm a duel citizen.. not begging to get in..

Look: Most Canadian accept that the great Canadian experiment in nationhood is over. The British North America Act which was dreamed up by a bunch of Lords in London to preserve British real estate interests and impede Manfest Destiny is obsolete. Canadians are also aware that a unified North America would be the largest and richest nation on earth by far. So, in keeping with her aggressive immigration policy, it is time for Canada to add another 360 million immigrants. We will do the deal provided we get an NFL franchise in Calgary. ;)

I'd sooner move to Quebec and speak french than join the US. Living across the river makes that easy.

2 more generations in Canada, and you will see a unified US and Canada.. guaranteed..

United North America

Almost 80 percent of Canada's population lives within 100 miles of the US border.

Canadians rely on the US military for protection against Russia and China.. if it were not for Canada's geography next to the USA, Canadians may very well be speaking Chinese or Russian.

Canadian economy is only due to it's geography to the USA. If the USA sealed it borders to trade with Canada, Canada would be a 3rd world country.

Canada and Canadians are nothing more than military and economic freeloaders riding the coat tails of the USA.

2 things need to happen before there is any chance of having this conversation.

  1. Stop printing money like lunatics
  2. Outlaw any beer that is below 4.5% alc/vol.

PS - Once ya learn how to drink rye, then we'll talk

Did you have to fight a dual to get that?

Both my parents were born in the U.S.. I could have duel citizenship but I don't want it. I've done a bit of traveling and the U.S. are not that well liked around the world whereas Canadians are well received in most countries.

One of the first steps Canada should take of eliminating all ambiguity in what is Canadian and American.. is BANNING all
Dual Citizenship.. with any nation... allowing for no divided loyalties. You are either all the way in.. or all the way out.

I'm good with that one. When my wife became a citizen she had a hell of a time convincing the bureaucraps she did NOT wish to retain her german citizenship.

Three big oceans on all sides do most of that job. The Chinese dont really have any ambitions to expand their borders. They would have done it by now if they did. Historically they are pretty isolationist compared to most other big countries. Now they use money and business to expand their influence rather than armies. As for the Russians, they could have moved in pretty far up til the 19th century. They chose not to. They also have more than enough territory now.

:(

I hope he will be President one day.

Have to change the constitution for that given he wasnt born in the US.
