That'd launch a fury of cherry-picking, with hairsplitting on political orientation of this or that charity and arcane numerology to "prove" bias one way or the other. Why bother?

Re: Revenue Canada's political activity audits biased, think-tank says

So what's your definition of regularly? Since there is over 80,000 charities in canada, CRA would have to audit close to 170/week just to hit everyone of them every ten years.

How many auditors do you think they have? Do you think they are capable of achieving a ten year cycle and is that regular enough for you?

I do. I just want to look at Fantasyland VFD financials. Cough up.

You should answer my questions first.

What is the name of the VFD so we can look up financials of the "never been audited VFD" and put this to rest? While you're at it list the farm subsidies and explain the VFF tax credit and how Corps can use the VFF tax credit to get free money in your own words considering this is your proof for several bizarre claims so put down your crack pipe and get the f-ck on it ya goddam creep.

You sure do ask a lot of questions for somebody that doesn't wish to answer any. I understand it is important for you to deflect attention away from your errors but seriously, it would be much easier if you just admitted that all charities are not audited regularly. You aren't the first person to ever make a mistake and you certainly won't be the last.

Is that what you're going on about?

Is there any specific reason charity and non profit financials are available to the public online? Can anyone audit publicly available charity/non-profits or just CRA? Do the organizations hire a third party to do audits of their financials as required by CRA?

You claim it's hard to track money through a non.profit like a VFD so cough up the name of the one you claim to be part of and let's audit.

An honest org can account for every penny. If it can't be tracked there is theiving fraudulent liars involved. Do you know any liars who claim to be in an org like a VFD?

Well f-ck face? Are charities and non-profits required to hire a third party firm to audit financials as required by CRA or not?

Prove it. Give a name.

Why? Would it make a difference? Look, I know your trying to move the goal posts by suggesting a financial statement audited by Willie, Cheetem and Howe is what you meant when you claimed all charities are audited. We all know this thread is about CRA audits and your statement was wrong. Get over it and move on. Dwelling on your past failures is not healthy

Why? Maybe because you're an admitted liar?

Don't be silly. You were wrong. You could do the mature thing and simply admit you were wrong or you can continue to move the goal posts. I think everybody knows what you are doing.

I wonder when the notion that a democratic government should be open became passe.

Based on whose determination? The Toronto Star? The Toronto Sun? Since nobody is unbiased you will never get agreement from anybody.

That would be a pretty serious breach of confidentiality... Those that were proven to have broken the rules is one thing, but those that didn't would be (rightfully) howling bloody murder

If the CRA is claiming no bias, they should be able to verify no bias. Surely a department full of auditors can grasp that concept. Simply list the charities that have been audited, along with the results of the audit. The Toronto Star has nothing to do with it.
