Dougie said: "I'm sure I'll talk to Rob about it," he said."All I can tell you is Mt. Sinai is one of the best hospitals in the entire world and they did a lot of good things for Rob and millions of others over the years."
Ford said he was confident the hospital will "handle it appropriately.."
MILLIONS OF OTHERS......................MILLIONS ..........OMG.......MILLIONS.
That lamebrain is running for mayor.
Goood luck T.O.
Both of them, Doug and Rob, should learn to STFU.
As should some bullies on here who get verbally violent with them what disagree.
Oh the LEFT
The goddam LEFT
THOSE LEFTISTS
FREAKIN LEFTISTS
YAHHHHHHHHHHH, THERE'S ANOTHER ONE.!!
fuk man, you're so partisanally stupid and goddamn ignorant.
look you ignorant capslock arsehole, the hospital has been going for over 90 years, you 'do the math' for us m'kay? we'll wait. even at a lowly 50,000 inpatients a year, it's only 40 years for 2 million people looked-after, never mind all the emergency visits.
"Mount Sinai Hospital has existed in Toronto since 1923 under various names; it has occupied its present site on University Avenue since 1973. In the fiscal year ending March 2013, Mount Sinai Hospital cared for 128,714 inpatients days, delivered almost 7000 babies and performed almost 20,000 surgeries. Toronto and area residents made more than half a million ambulatory clinic visits to Mount Sinai. In that same year, the hospital’s Schwartz/Reisman Emergency Department saw 56,080 visits and that number expected to increase to 80,000/year over the next few years."

now crawl back into your hole putz.
and fukkin' ignorant.
of course this politically motivated...what supporter of his would want to creep around inside his personal medical history? the man isn't even running for mayor any more so what gives.
likely someone looking to make a buck by somehow copying or print-screening the data with hopes of forwarding it to gawker, tmz, smoking gun or their ilk like the toronto star. either that or Ford was just part of another mass records info-grab by crooked insiders. either way, the public needs to know what the hell is going on and who did it.
it needs to be explained further what type of employees these were, what exactly was done to discipline them and what if anything was done with the info they viewed. that is mt. Sinai's and/or the media or the police or a privacy commissioner's responsibility. but the hospital uses the smarmy 'for privacy' reasons, they can't go further into what happened. that would be the privacy of the two schmucks that weren't part of Rob's medical care team they're worried about. yeah right.

In August, the Star discovered Mount Sinai, North York General, St. Joseph’s Health Centre, Humber River, Toronto East General and Rouge Valley Health inappropriately provided patient names, ages, lengths of hospital stays, physicians, types of diets and reasons for admission to maternity imaging company Just Arrived Baby Photography Inc.
The breach involved tens of thousands of new mothers.
Two months before, a $412-million class action lawsuit was launched against Rouge Valley Centenary after the hospital gave contact information for 8,300 patients to private companies marketing RESP investments.
