"On inspection, Dr. Henike ‘thought the work looked a little rough’… X-rays confirmed that these were someone else’s teeth.
“It was Dr. Henike’s evidence that he had never before encountered the situation of someone else’s teeth being cemented into a patient’s mouth… He informed K.W. that the dentist who had done this work had not met the standard of care in Ontario.
“K.W. testified that on learning that Dr. Henike suspected that these were human teeth, she was ‘completely disgusted and mortified.’”
it's also criminal that it took them this long to ban Hashem
which brings up another issue...how many "mistakes" should be tolerated before they are banned because it would seem as though buddy here had a plethora of opportunities to correct his work and chose not to.
when the public is at risk like this, what is reasonable?
How about one infraction a severe warning, second infraction a one year suspension, third infraction goners!?
how could we distinguish between a willful infraction and an honest mistake...because to me it sounds like buddy did it all intentionally in some maniacal quest for experience
and that's the part the bothers me the most.
the guy sounds seriously messed
It was a mistake alright, but it was hardly honest. That falls more under the category of omission than commission! -![]()
