The last I heard was that 900,000 people in your state has SNAP:

This represents only 13% of the population and fully one third of its beneficiaries are children with another 15% elderly. 4,000 are veterans. We do not appear to have an actual figure of how many adults are disabled as compared with others who are fully able to work. Thus, we know over 50% of the beneficiaries do not have the means to support themselves either through youth, age, and presumably some form of health related incapacity. Assuming that half of these 900,000 are incapacitated it means that (more or less) 6% of the people in that state are on SNAP {food stamps}.
I suggest that 6% is a small figure and defeats your argument that SNAP is readily available as is candy.
