Bet that makes you real popular with the neighbours.
It's no problem

They're all retarded anyways.

I may very well be the youngest Carpenter in Canadian history to have accomplished Master Carpenter/joiner recognition by her Grand Majesty the Queen.

Excellent work. I'm kinda the other end of the spectrum, having been repeatedly recognised as the worst carpenter in American history.

You done good.

To each his own expertise. It's what makes us so efficient as a society.

That and competition due to our free market model.

Face palm

You should leave this kind of work to competent professionals.

Well, there was a few times when I couldn't afford professionals so I did it myself with satisfactory results...............so how can you argue with that?

My father in law did the same, and his wife has fallen down those stairs twice, one of his daughters, once, and it cost him 4000$ of dentice and orthodontist services to fix the damages

We are all free to make bad decisions as long as we are willing to live with the consequences

So what did he do wrong?

So what did he do wrong?

The stairs are built at 45 degree, and that makes them to steep per the Canadian construction code, and are considered dangerous for anything other then accessing storages and none living spaces

O.K., I can see that when accommodating people of all physical conditions. A hand rail helps too.

It lowers your re-sell value as well

In the end, whatever money you saved May we'll end up costing you more in devaluation of your property and even worst if a loved one hurts or kills themselves in your stairs.

Like in my father in laws case

That'd be great, except for the fact that the doctor is licensed by, and access to birth control pills is limited by, the state. So when the doctor uses her state-provided authority to impose her religion on another person, what is that?

Also, it's well and good to say "go to another doctor." How bout when the next doctor's 100 miles away?

How bout emergency medical technicians refusing to treat homosexuals at crash scenes because they believe homosexuality is sinful? Legitimate?

How bout Muslim police officers refusing to file reports on rapes of women who wore revealing clothing?

nope, i only agree with the birth control thing, and other arrangements can be made to get the pills.
they are NOT an emmergency, they can be arranged by certain medical contacts, and yes, even from 100
miles away. i don't consider birth control the same as the other suggestions, those i would disagree
with.
when one begins to talk about many different probabilities, then i would want to know what the doctor
has had to take an oath to do, and i don't know, but i would think that birth control pills aren't
bunched in with the others you mention, or others that might be out there.

not interested in bringing police officers into this conversation, that is a different topic.

You tell me how the EMT is going to know that the crash victim is Gay.

This is just a bigoted stereotype.

When notching the stringers, and you have an ordinary framing square, what standard numbers would you use for the step and riser?
Although when it came time to redo the steps to the front of the house the savings in building the stringers myself over prefab, pressure treated ones, were too small to make it worthwhile......
