The fact remains our present incarnation of federal C logo politicians want to spend 65 billion dollars on war planes that are plagued with various problems and clearly according to some experts not suited for the Canadian North, and being a one engine plane a recipe for disaster. Lockhead's confidence that the plane would win every encounter with it's high tech is the reason for the one engine.
