I find it somewhat interesting that you would draw such a conclusion about the RCMP trying a PR stunt in the middle of a tragedy. Actually, interesting is the wrong word, "stupid" is more fitting. For you I'll lay it out. The police service like the military is comprised of members, those members consider themselves brothers which is akin to family.

Maybe you should go join Bourques Facebook page if it's still up, he's looking for a few good cop haters.

Good grief.
where in my post did I say it was a publicity stunt. but it certainly is a change in what their normal procedures are.

Good grief , your certainly very quick to try to role-play as an all-knowing superior.

Spoken like a true Liberal... must be odd living in the Conservative bread basket with you're political Leftist views.. I'm surprised you have not been converted yet.

"Show me a young Conservative and I'll show you someone with no heart. Show me an old Liberal and I'll show you someone with no brain." Quote by Winston S. Churchill - very smart man.

Nope. Winston did not say that.
Yep I live in Albertastan.

Look at the list of fallen officers in the USA... it's so common in the USA.. happens in Canada and it's major news..

And that's a bad thing or funny thing? Canada is not the US and the fact that this doesn't happen often in Canada is a good thing. You make it sound like Canada should be just like the US and have more gun crimes and start shooting our police.

Your above justification is a load of sh*t and you know it. Everybody knows I'm usually one of the first to toss out inappropriate jokes and comments, but I've kept out of that crap because I have principles and know now is not the time or place.

Grow up.

All Police refer to themselves as family when 1 is killed. Always, same goes for Fire Fighters.

Copping isn't really all that dangerous in the U.S. It's not even in the top 10.

Maybe you should move on.

Seems some Liberal pricks on this forum, want to pick up where you left off over a picture and make a big deal out of it, or twist it around..

Post a picture that I found on another forum does not say I think the dead of 3 officers is any less tragic.

What is says is clearly this guy is now getting a following.. people are cheering and some hoping he kills more cops...

BornRuff, I sent you a link in the PM but will not post it here..

This whole topic is becoming very distorted...

As far as the Gun culture... as Liberals I hope you stick to your values and never by any firearms, let the Conservatives be the ones with the guns.. ;)

Maybe you should move on.

and maybe if you're truly offended by something, instead of getting your little back up, you let us know, ok.

otherwise, ignore stuff and move on your own self.

try and have a better evening now.

What a bunch of morons to come out now with this. Same as the gun control types. Fukem all.

Moncton shooting: National Firearms Association blasts gun rules after deadly attack - Canada - CBC News

Actually, the NFA (I'm a member) is absolutely correct. All the idiotic and often unconstitutional firearms laws did nothing to prevent this.

And that is the truth of it. Tragic and horrible as they are, these things are completely unavoidable in a free society. No law will ever prevent nuts from killing.

Maybe you could have avoided all of this if you explained that at the same time as posting the picture.

Take your own advise or insult... depends how one takes it..

I do take my own advice, which is why I don't call people names on here. Rather than replying with the same maturity, I did the adult thing and followed the rules and guidelines of these forums and reported your action.

And if you can't accept the consequences of your actions and follow the rules then maybe you shouldn't be here.

Yeah, thank god this **** happens so rarely in Canada. Let's not produce the conditions that cause it to happen every week in the United States. Kindly take your stupid gun nut bull**** and **** off. Stop trying to create a society where macho idiots pretend they're cowboys and maniacs go around mass murdering people.

Yes, I'll do the same.. you're post was insulting a belittling. Maybe we can both get knocked off. ;)

Now instead of posting anymore frivolous posts, take it to the PM if you have anything more useless to say.

Keep it off the forum.

Clearly, 100% unadulterated ignorance of the issue.

First of all, the murder rate in the USA is much LOWER that the world average.

Secondly, the murder rate in the USA has been dropping rapidly over the past 20 years, despite the easing of gun control laws and the new norm of allowing concealed carry of handguns. The US murder rate is now lower than at any time since 1961.

Thirdly, lunatics don't need guns to kill. The largest school massacre in the USA was done with dynamite. In Canada, by far the worst mass murder was done with a can of gasoline and a match.

Fourth, there are large subcultures in this country were being armed to the teeth is the norm. Here in NB, that is a fact, and yet we enjoy one of the lowest murder rates in the country.

Get off your high horse. Simply because your closed little culture does not include "arms and the man" does not indicate its moral superiority to my own closed little culture..............

Some tolerance please.
