And there's a good reason for that.

Oh, I've got plenty. Here's what our 13 new Type 26 Global Combat Ships will look like. Construction starts next year. Again, they'll be the best ships of their type in the world.

New Type 27 frigates are also to be built.

.

More pics of the Brits imaginary fleet!

The USN is far more advanced and they actually have real ships.

Come off it. Sonar 2076, the world's most powerful sonar, which allows Royal Navy ships in Portsmouth to detect ships entering and leaving New York Harbor, was designed and built exclusively for the Royal Navy. The Americans have nothing like it, and it was Sonar 2076 which allowed an Astute-class submarine to hold back a Virginia-class submarine and leave the Yanks astounded.

Hold back... I love that.

"Stand clear of the King's Road ye dastardly rebel!"

Brits... lol

Sonar 2076 is old US Cold War Tech that was sold to the Brits to help modernize their fleet.

Should edit to read: "... (our US made torpedoes and Tomahawks) once we have enough cash to order some from the factory in Mass."

"Until then, you'd best stand-down else I unleash a fusillade of pretend ordinances in your general direction!"

Graphic Artist to the bridge... lively now!

The Royal Navy's Daring-class destroyers and Astute-class submarines are each the world's most advanced ships of their kind. The Royal Navy is fast becoming the most advanced and modern navy on the planet, as it has been for most of the last 250 years.

Sonar 2076 is old US Cold War Tech that was sold to the Brits to help modernize their fleet.
Sonar 2076 is a submarine sonar detection system designed by Thomson Marconi Sonar Thales for the Royal Navy.

It is NOT "old US Cold War Tech". It was specifically designed for the RN - and the Yanks are astounded by the technology.

ROFL.

And I'll engage you with our US made torpedoes and Tomahawks!

The Astute-class's Spearfish torpedoes were produced by BAE Systems.

Spearfish entered full production in 1988, with deliveries completed in 2003; the number ordered has not been revealed. Spearfish torpedoes are stored and serviced at Beith Ordnance Storage facility in North Ayrshire

US Subs are far more advanced.

Brit officers were astounded at how advanced the USN subs were to their own. In war game after war game USN subs bested Brit subs.

However... USN Officers were very impressed with the artist renditions that the RN Art Corps were able to produce.

Come on, show some credibility

I thought this was a serious discussion forum - my mistake it seems.

I regular chat with US (and other nationalities) servicemen in other forums who show respect and are very knowledgeable.

I respect their opinions as they know what they are talking about.

You will no doubt respond in a childish insulting manner as you have previously

I can understand the history with blackleaf, who does himself no favours.

I was referring to replies to my first posts when I joined yesterday.

I asked reasonable questions and was met with insults.

Thanks anyway

Odd... here you are again. Defending BL and only participating in BLs threads.

How very odd.

You understand the history with BL do you?

You joined yesterday... you have 8 posts... but you know the whole history of BL?

How is that possible?

I'm trying to figure out why he thought picking the name of a tire store as his board handle was a good idea.

Funny isn't it?

He suddenly shows up yesterday... participates only in BLs threads defending him... and somehow knows the whole history of BL in CanCon.

And if you DID truly understand the history with BL you wouldn't be coming to his aid and getting all bent.

Tyre store? I'm from England so I wouldn't have known that. NTW are my initials

And where did I come to blackleaf's aid? I don't even know him and even said he does himself no favours.
After prompting I had a quick flick through previous posts to see why blackleaf and others are going at each other.

I questioned when someone made a statement of fact without backing it up.

And still hasn't.

Don't confuse that with me defending BL. I'm on no one's side but my own
