I really feel for your team today and when they cried I totally understood how devastated they must be. They were the better team for so much of the game, Eagle, truly. But you simply can never ever count the Canadian women out and as our Team Captain said during an interview, the team never thought the game was over as they had been in the same position so many times this past year. They were pretty battle hardened.

Here's some trivia for you. There have been many ‘firsts’ in Sochi for our Olympians. One of these ‘firsts’ is the that three women on the Canadian Women’s Hockey Team made history today when they became the only Canadian athletes – summer or winter - to win back-to-back quadruple Gold Medals. They are: Hayley Wickenheiser, Jayna Hefford and Caroline Ouellette. Well done, ladies.........well done.
