Umm. . . I never said it was a "stellar Govt." Y'know, when you make up sh*t in your head, ascribe it to me, then argue against it, you're really just talking to yourself. And you can sit in the corner and do that. No need to waste power and bandwidth doing it on the internet.
I think it was Goober who used the term 'stellar', now that I noticed you are from DC I can understand very clearly why you left it out.
The bolder term was last haeard in about 1962, the last time it was likely said to you was sometime this week.

Once again, I never said we're better off now. I noted that you're absolutely certain we're on a downward path, so I asked "downward from where? Where is the high point from which we are down?" You couldn't answer, so you're attempting to ascribe to me things I never said.
The words were already there so either you comprehension id missing entirely of you post what comes to mind without reading the post.

Pretty standard tactic of the desperate.
Missing the main points, as you just did, is about all the proof anybody will ever need to determine people In Washington, DC are scrambling to win the game and losing badly. Putin and others said this is the first step. America's call to go to war against terror is lost and according to the new rules of war as of the end of WWI the loser pays the bank for the cost of the war for both sides, Why do you think the Saudis are looking for an atom bomb, they want to show America how much they appreciate the stab in the back a sthey are on the hook for all cost that Syria can put together as being 'war related' and that cost will be outstripped by Syria's reconstruction costs. Afghanistan isn't going to sign anything that allows the US to stay any longer than can be arranged.

More desperation, more ascribing things to me I never said. This is getting pathetic. It really doesn't improve with repetition.
I'm expanding the topic, you didn't think a troll gets to call any real shots did you? (an Yank troll isn't that smart yet, you are the proof).

Excellent. When you can't support your position, lie about your interlocutor and throw red herrings.
There are 100 differnt sites with the same info, if you can show it is false you would have, nuff said lol

Well done you.
More to follow.

Yes, I left it out because I don't think our government (Canadian or American) is stellar.

Um. . . I'm not goober. Hope that helps.

When you quote me, then respond to someone else, it does get a mite confusing.

In what way is that relevant to the topic? The original one, I mean, not your red herring.

Oh, boy, namecalling! The last gasp of the desperate.

None of which answer the question "If we're going downhill, where are we going downhill from?"

A question that you can't answer, and no amount of irrelevant spam will change that.

Great, there goes 90% of what I was going to use on you.
My whole point, in a nutshell, is that government has ALWAYS been corrupt, and nowadays is not significantly worse, and in some ways better, than government in the past. Ergo, while it may kinda suck, it's not actually a downhill trend, just kind of a steady progress along the valley floor.

Only if she is over 18 and not married or has big nasty brothers.
The Webbs. Nine kids. Eight boys and the youngest was a girl. It was generally known that ONE Webb was trouble if crossed. Eight of them didn't even bear thinking about.

I dated her anyway. I was just real careful where I put my hands.

I hope it happened or there are more things failing than I have listed, so far hallucinations and hearing voices is at nil. I did a little searching and if I recall the time correctly it was to do with governments being corrupt back to 500AD, now I'll reread everything I did today just to see where that actually came from.

Government always becomes corrupt it is not always corrupt.
Your valid opinion on past governance would of course depend on detailed history largely unavailable due to government corruptions of the near and remote past.
Determining any trend would also require the above mentioned complete history which is kept in a box under my pallet and you have never seen it.
One thing history certainly does not do is record steady human progress, much of it deals with the valley of the shadow of death.

How many celebrations planned in Washington to celebrate the creation of the Fed on Dec.23, 2013. 100 years should be huge, if it was good for the people of the country. I have heard zero and it is less that 4 weeks away.

None that I know of. Similarly, none for the inauguration of the Interstate Highway System or the passage of the 13th Amendment. Those were good for the people of the country.

Well with the Fed the same President pretty much admitted that he sold America down the road. Start the festivities with this introduction. Got anything similar for the projects you mentioned.

I am a most unhappy man. I have unwittingly ruined my country. A great industrial nation is controlled by its system of credit. Our system of credit is concentrated. The growth of the nation, therefore, and all our activities are in the hands of a few men. We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated governments in the civilized world. No longer a government by free opinion, no longer a government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a government by the opinion and duress of a small group of dominant men.

More ???

Sure. I love fake quotes. How 'bout where Jesus said "Blessed are they who take advantage of Walmart's low, low prices?"
