I do not like Ford- a buffoon- but his brother is Robs worst enemy-
Ford creates and thrives on this crap- But to be fair the media would follow him into the bathroom if they had a chance and comment upon it. And it would not be positive.
That is one reason- his personality- that he takes some time off- gets help- people are forgiving.
Lastly - The Police report on him was more intrusive that a top drug dealer- makes you wonder why.

The media camps out in front of his office and house because there are few other ways to try to get him to answer questions. It is their job to hold public officials like Ford to account. Previous mayors held regular press availabilities, so reporters knew they could just show up to those and ask the questions that they needed to ask. Ford has gone weeks refusing to speak to the media in any regular forum.

Recent revelations seem to indicate that the media should have been following him much more closely. The guy was getting drunk in school yards and public parks and participating in dead drops with known drug dealers and the media didn't catch any of that.

The police investigation was thorough because they were dealing with a public official who was facing serious accusations. It continued because they found many areas of concern.

Sources confirmed to the Toronto Sun that Ford gave every member of his mayor’s office staff $5,000 raises on Friday before council stripped him of his powers.

It’s a surprising taxpayer-funded pay hike given Ford’s penny-pinching persona but it is part of a growing list of surprises that have rocked Toronto municipal politics the last few weeks.

From a psychological perspective,(as exhibited by his behaviour) he is in deep, deep trouble...
Really?

From a psychological perspective, (as exhibited by his behavior) he looks like a guy hound to the limits of his abilities to cope. In fact, he shows the same characteristics as some of the lesser capable around here when I give in to their requests for attention.

Funny that.

Now he's just losing it. I can understand rewarding loyalty, but that would be a bit of a stretch here.

Drugging/Boozing/Whoring/ect...aside. Has Ford been a good Mayor for
the City of Toronto?

From the outside looking in, I'm thinking that if Saskatchewan beats
Calgary.....& Toronto beats Hamilton....then Toronto comes to Regina
for the Grey Cup.....& Ford also comes out west for the game and the
party on the 24th.

What kind of shenanigans can Mayor Ford get into in Regina? That
might be almost like another 1/2 time show....but before/during/after
the game.

Well, he might attract all the crack dealers in Regina, leading to a jumbo sized arrest.

Rob Ford look-alike says he gets mistaken for him ‘all the time’

PELHAM, Ont. — Everywhere he goes, people whisper.
Some strangers stare.
Others come up and shake his hand.
Barry Neelin can’t believe the attention he’s been getting, even more so in recent weeks, due to his uncanny resemblance to a certain controversial Toronto mayor.
The Fonthill, Ont., resident has a good chuckle each time he’s approached in Niagara by people believing he’s Rob Ford.
“Men and women come up to me. People yell out their windows to me when I’m walking down the street. It happens all the time,” Neelin said.
It started last year when Neelin got a new haircut - suddenly, he was transformed. When he’s wearing a suit, he gets mistaken for Ford even more.
“A lady asked me to attend her Halloween party. I told her, ‘I’m not Rob Ford.’ You tell them you’re not and they look at you in amazement. They say, ‘You could be a decoy,” Neelin said.
As for his mayoral doppelganger, Neelin said he thinks Ford is being treated unfairly.
“He has saved that city a lot of money. Leave the man’s private life alone and let him do his job. I think what (Toronto) council’s done, turning their backs to him, is absolutely childish,” he said.
While Toronto council has been cold to Ford, Neelin said people are “quite friendly” when they approach him.“When I tell them I’m not Ford, they wish I was because they want to ask questions.
I make sure to tell them I’m not right away,” the retired factory worker said.
Neelin said he has no interest in entering politics himself, but he did have some advice for Toronto’s mayor.
“Keep on fighting for the little guy because I think that’s who he represents, and the taxpayers of Toronto,” he said.
Fonthill, Ont., resident Barry Neelin says he's stopped on a daily basis because people believe he looks just like Toronto Mayor Rob Ford.(MARYANNE FIRTH/QMI Agency)

Speaking of prime ministers..

NDP’s Mulcair says Ford scandal impacting Harper | Globalnews.ca

Mulcair says the long-standing Tory-Ford ties are souring voters’ opinion of Harper, and will play a role in the 2015 federal election.

“The Conservatives have been saying for years that Rob Ford’s their guy,” Mulcair said Sunday during a surprise stop in Toronto to support his party’s candidate in the coming federal byelection.

“They’re going to have to wear it now,” he said, repeating that Ford should resign immediately and get help.

Natural Resources Minister Joe Oliver sought to distance his government when asked about the mayor earlier this month, denying there was any particularly close relationship.
