I'll say.

If interviewed/polled again what would they say this time?

We built our peak plant far away from the border to avoid being on the grid that pipes into USA.

I'm not impressed, especially when they are blaming NAFTA for your high gas prices. I believe it is common knowledge why gas is more expensive in Canada, distribution and taxes, taxes and more taxes.

Thanks to NAFTA, we must already compete against Americans for the gasoline to drive our cars and the oil to heat our homes. Just imagine having to bid against them to keep the lights on.

... But always seem to scream the loudest about deficiencies in the system and demand the most.

Funny how that works
Yes it is.

The wind farm that they're testing here is getting all sorts of flack from the NIMBY's. I've looked at the plan, the view of the lake they say will be ruined, doesn't exist now.

Mean while over in a sensitive watershed, a housing development of million dollar homes is getting little to no attention at all.

Even the NIMBY's friends need a nice place in the country I guess.

Fabulous, we'll send them the bill then.
We all get it.

It's not common knowledge bud.

Good idea. Mailboxes are in the front yard.
The mailboxes aren't there anymore, they've been moved to central locations.

Union mail carriers hated the exercise.

We should just walk up and staple them to their foreheads. You know, to make sure they get them.
Now that's a good idea.

A small(ish) group of people who don't think but instead follow along, and these are the people effectively dictating policy. It's a mad world isn't it?

I work in an office, if there's one thing I know how to do it's work a stapler. ;)

We all get it.

Yes, and I want to give mine to them. You know, "pay it forward". Lol.

It's not common knowledge bud.
It should be. If there's a Canadian out there who doesn't know what the freaking SIN tax is, we should revoke their membership.

Now that's a good idea.
Raising electrical rates makes me want to hurt people. Have I mentioned my condo has baseboard heaters?
