Illegal immigrants get housing, welfare, and free medical here in Massachusetts.
Obama's aunt is one of them.
Doesn't the WH have like an in-law suite that he could move his aunt into?
.. That'd sure be nice... Family 'n all

There are also millions of stories of Canadians who are waiting months to see a specialistIf you have a chronic condition such as Parkinson's or MS you are only covered up to and including some things...it is not ongoing and the providers will fight it...they are a business and not there to ensure your health.
There was a documentary on a month ago. A real estate agent who made millions a year was diagnosed with breast cancer. She made a documentary of her journey and those she met along the way. She has now dedicated herself to health care for women because she lost friends along the way that could not afford the treatment she received. Their insurance simply does not cover it. There were also huge time lapses in their treatment due to inability to pay for treatments not covered by their providers. They do not have the same opportunity for health as we do here. Of course the rich do and that is A okay with many people.
There are a million stories like this. The number of people that lose everything due to medical bills is unconscionable. But then I believe all have the right to equal health care.
We are no where near as good as we could be, but if sick, I'll take my chances here.
Frankly I do not really care much about their systems or how they operate...I do care about the people I hear of who are bankrupt or have no opportunity to seek medical help including those on my FB wall.
Does everyone use $16K worth of healthcare yearly?
Sorry to be the one to say it, but healthcare is not a right
Article 25
1. Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and
well-being of himself and of his family, including food, clothing, housing
and medical care and necessary social services, and the right to security
in the event of unemployment, sickness, disability, widowhood, old age or
other lack of livelihood in circumstances beyond his control.
There are, but for people less than wealthy or below middle class as much of the States is, we are far better off. There are also millions of stories of Canadians who are waiting months to see a specialist
xxxxxThat's only one trip to the doctor about the flu in the states. ;-)
I had a friend break their leg skiing at Mt Baker. After the ambulance trip, x-rays and a cast he was presented a bill for $16,000. Friends of my parents were in Seattle and she went into labour. They were told she couldn't be admitted to the hospital without proof of insurance or $30,000 in cash. They wound up driving 2 hours back to the border and going to White Rock hospital The US is totally f*cked when it comes to healthcare but what do you expect when it is a 'for profit' industry.
Yes and that is why our government and many other organizations all advise having travel insurance when out of country.
That's a pretty f*cked up attitude!!!
And actually it is....

but then would in fact raise a lot of people to medicaid levels since there are so many americans who have zero coverage...and many who do not seek medical help because they can't afford it and don't say they don't exist I see them on my wall crawl on FB all the time

That's great if you're not bleeding out. ;-)You're incorrect.. you don't have Insurance, fine, any US Citizen can walk into ANY a County Hospital fill out an income form and you get assistance..
John Peter Smith Hospital - Fort Worth, TX is the county Hospital for Arlington, Texas.. when I found myself without health care, I had to go there, fill out income forms and I was given FREE Health Care..
I didn't have a health care plan, but I was given free healthcare when I was in need.
I have a hard time with this Boom. My ex-wife had a lump on her breast and there was a biopsy done 5 days after going to the doctor and the lump was removed the week after that. My sister was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer and had 2 biopsies and a double mastectomy within 3 weeks. A few months ago they found a tumor in her brain and she was in surgery in less than a week. Not sure why you are waiting unless they are benign.I'm waiting months to have two tumors removed.. Cancer.. I may fly down to Monterrey, Mexico or return to Arlington, Texas to get the operation sooner.
Hey but I'm on the wait list hoping a surgeon in Canada will do the deed.
So, let's bring the 90% down to the level of the 5%. BHO is ruining the best healthcare in the world.but then would in fact raise a lot of people to medicaid levels since there are so many americans who have zero coverage...and many who do not seek medical help because they can't afford it and don't say they don't exist I see them on my wall crawl on FB all the time
BS. My brother, a GP in Texas, treats the wealthy and the poor on a first come first served basis. If a new knee or hip is needed the knee or hip is installed within a couple of weeks no matter the economic status of the patient, not 6 months of agony later as it is here in Canada. A pace maker is installed the same day at the cardiologist down the street.there are, but for people less than wealthy or below middle class as much of the states is, we are far better off.

Since when? The best healthcare is in Scandanavia where there is no waits and no costs. The US has some cutting edge technology IF you can afford it.So, let's bring the 90% down to the level of the 5%. BHO is ruining the best healthcare in the world.
Then your brother is one of a small minority. Of course if he is anything like you I call bullsh*t on this!BS. Now I have a lump under my left rib cage that needs to be removed.. it's very painful, which is a good thing the doctors say..
Last one removed was under my ear on the neck, I lost some nerves so I have no feeling in part of my face.. I can go get my left ear pierced and I don't need any freezing..
There is a major shortage of surgeons in Alberta.. I don't have much faith in Alberta doctors, BC doctors I think are more on the ball..

Fantastic! Another fukked-up and useless UN initiative.
... But let's run with it... Everyone in the USA (and Canada), without exception has the right to access healthcare.
All you need is either a healthcare card (Canada and/or US) or cash... Just like everyone has the right to housing; you just gotta pay to play in this game
wow that's great... there sure are a lot of stupid Americans who don't know how to make good use of their free health care system then and suffer needlessly and/or a lot of liars down there making stuff up...So, let's bring the 90% down to the level of the 5%. BHO is ruining the best healthcare in the world.
