All of those words are meaningless without any substance behind them
I've read a lot of Tonington's posts and I don't see a lack of substance. Political Nick's on the other hand--still trying to work out the thermodynamics of his fridge.
Plus you're of the same opinion as Tonn. That helps.
Yes, the fact that most people who think the same way as Tonington also have significant scietnific and technical backgrtounds should be telling you something.
Yes it tells me that tontington wants me to give up my car well he keeps his.Yes, the fact that most people who think the same way as Tonington also have significant scietnific and technical backgrtounds should be telling you something.
Yes it tells me that tontington wants me to give up my car well he keeps his.
He also wants me to pay more taxes, well he continues to get funding from those tax dollars, absurd.

Scientists are just like engineers and architects. If it works on paper it must work in the real world.

Yea a lobby group that is taxpayer funded, of course their answer is more taxes, and more funding.By substance, I mean proof - comprehensive proof.
If that does indeed exist, then the debate is closed..... But as we presently see, there is no conclusive 'proof', just a 95% likelihood from a lobby group.
lol. Roger that.
And should anything about your post tell me something?
At any rate... is he a Climate Scientist?

Yep, had a refrigeration ticket since 1996 but have no idea how a fridge works!

Yeah, and yet you don't know what happenes to the temperature in a room when you open the fridge door. Not buying it.
I'm sure you're off to Google now to find the right answer.

Well it would depend on the size of the room and the setting of the fridge. Then of course you would have to allow for the temperature of the room and is a heating/cooling system active and where is it set. Then there is the outside ambient temperature and how is the room insulated. Is it on the north or south side? The size and layout of the room will be a factor, is it an open floorplan. Add in some variables like windows open or closed and how far they are open and maybe heavy drapes and are they open or closed. If they are open is there a wind chill and how much.
You see Zipperhead, it isn't just cut and dry that the room will get colder if you leave the fridge open. Just like it isn't cut and dry about AGW. Next time you want to make some banal, nonsensical remark about a subject you obviously have no clue about I suggest you stop, take a deep breath, and hold it to a count of 7 billion.
I happen to be an excellent speller. Just a really lousy typer.
