This is the problem America has and its destroying the nation slowly but surely.
It matters not Republican or Democrat they examine the tea leaves looking for
advantage the rant about who's a hero and who's not. They tear each other
down instead of finding positive solutions.
Every one of them regardless of political stripe that engages in nonsense
instead of helping those who need governments help are part of a problem
that is much bigger.
It is time they start tackling the problems and finding some solutions.

Do you really think that??? I don't find it that way at all, and to be honest, I don't find it the other way (very left leaning) either. I think sentiments can swing heavily one way or another depending on who's posting that day, but I'd honestly say there is a fair (enough) representation from both sides of the political spectrum.

I think when you have people who are very extreme, dramatic, grandiose, etc with how they express their point of view, people react to that. And yeah, there are some more conservative members who will always give a pass to extreme right wing rhetoric, similarly there are more liberal/left leaning members who will always give a pass to extreme left wing rhetoric. But for the most part, people react to extreme.

How else can you possibly explain the exact same member being labeled as both a libtard and neo-con? Libtard and Neocon-ness is in the eye of the beholder I think, lol.

It is far to the right. Ocean Breeze and others who are liberal have been chased out of the forum just for writing the truth. Years ago this was a friendly forum but not so any more. Still there are good exchanges and that's why most of us stay.

One of the issues you've hit on is that most of us are not exclusively one or the other side of the right-left spectrum. I might be right given my hobby of shooting and left in my support of trade unions. Extremists do us a disfavour with their absolute inclusions and exclusions, IMO.

Not really. Or at least not where I live. Other than wally no one is far right. Most of us are more or less center, perhaps fiscally conservative.It is just that some of the lefties are soooo far left.
