Cause when our best of friends from down south stick their cock down our throats. Boot lickers like durry make sure to swallow the whole load.
Even they seem to slowly but surely "evolving" on this issue. It'll be decriminalized in both countries at the very least. Its just a question of when.
Canada is a country of law and order and it often costs us taxpayers a lot of money to maintain and enforce our laws.
In this country, everybody is expected to be law abiding citizens.
As well in this country, individuals don't get to chose which ones they will abide by and which ones they will ignore and do as they please.
We as a country have progressed well beyond that type of third world thinking.
Not really. Kids in high school have been smoking, drinking and doing drugs for many decades. They chose to break those laws and the vast majority (including myself) get away with it. Even when they admit to having done it. A number of adults continue to openly break those same laws and even then rarely get into any trouble over it. Well, here anyway. In the US its a different story. Its not third world thinking when damn near everyone in first world countries do it at least once. Not just these laws either, ever j-walked? I doubt there is a single person in this country who hasnt at some point.
These particular laws make no sense. I havent broken them in years but thats just because drugs dont appeal to me, it has nothing to do with the fact that they are laws. I have no issue with anyone breaking laws which restrict a persons freedom to do what they want with their own bodies if it only affects that one person. These laws do that. Are drugs bad? Probably. But people should be totally free to destroy themselves with drugs if thats what they want to do. It doesnt affect me or you if they do that.
Give me a break. You can toke up in broad daylight in Vancouver and the cops just ignore you. In today's society, it isn't a big deal.
And if you take a walk through the Eastern part of the city you would think there are no laws given what is done in the open. I was really shocked when I saw east Hastings for the first time.
He may not be, but the youth vote will not be enough and if he keeps on like this it could (likely will) blow up in his face.
Depends on if he can get them out or not. The youth are generally ignored politically simply because by and large they stay home. With our system it only takes a 1-2% difference in popular vote to totally change things one way or another.
