Way off subject, however Compton was once very white. My white grandfather was born on a farm that is now downtown Compton. Later Compton actually had 2 cemeteries across the street from each other, they were segregated. However they weren't when my great grandfather was buried there, then both my grandparents are there along with a other family members. When I lived in the general area Compton was mostly black. The last time I visited the cemetery it was no longer segregated and it was very run down in fact there was a class action suit against them. the black cemetery across the street was very well kept. I wish some of my family members had been buried there. So it was interesting to see that now Compton is mostly Hispanic.Latino Gangs Launch Attacks on Black Families in Compton to Drive Them Out of the City | Your Black World
