Although, to be fair, and I don't know if it's happening in all states, but in some states the recommendation is coming down to start selling premiums cheeper because statistically then young people will buy in, unbeknownst to them paying for care of the old.
I am willing to bet that Obama's Legacy will be judged with higher praise than his Texan predecessor. Obama might have been a lukewarm President who gave little result, but George W Bush will always be remembered for the boondoggle in Iraq and the Abandonment of Afghanistan.

The effects of the additional debt brought online by the current admin will not be truly felt for some years. The Canadian equivalent is PET - when the cash was being spent, folks were happy, but the moment that there is an economic hiccup, that debt comes to bite you in the azz.... No doubt in my mind that this will be an enduring element associated with the Obama administration

Bush threw away an empire. Obama created two peoples where there were once one.
Yep, but I'd say Bush had a "tougher row to hoe" as I think 9/11 and Katrina were both tougher than anything Obama has encountered so far.
Well for sh!ts and giggles we could say that Bush inherited 911 from Clinton's shortcomings, but when you come to brass tax Obama inherited the economy from both Bush and Clinton. I actually think Obama is a pretty intelligent guy, but his ideology and the American system of Lobbyists and pork barrel politics will do him no favors. But hell, who are we to talk. Look at at all the pigs we have at the trough in Ottawa.

I think Obama, like Carter, is a little overwhelmed by it all. He scaled up really fast, and I think he lost control of the machine.
Unfortunately, the high-point of his legacy will probably be his race. Aside from that, he's been just a middlin' President.

Carter will be remembered fro the Iran Crisis and the Camp David talks that brought Israel and Egypt together. Sad to think the latter now hangs in the balance.
