Locusts have virgin births?
I have heard of komodo dragons.

Well, Hunboldt might argue only one was needed; certainly a space saver.

I am not certain the prepositions should be "off" or "of." I thought John lived on locusts. Mind you, I am not a biblical scholar.

I am, unfortunately, both a bad typist & not much of an expert on the sex life of locusts..

He did coat them in wild honey, AFAIR..

Perhaps ParthenoGENESIS is the true first book of the Bible?

Hmmm- actually, the momma wasn't TECHNICALLY a virgin, as Alf the rogue male had been booted out of the Anteater cage.

Just a sex starved female....

"ROUND YON VIRGIN
Momma and pup
Holy anteater infant
laps lil ants up...."

I miss Xmas...

There was an anteater named Jane
Who remarked upon "Snakes on a Plane,"
"Those mothers all hissed
With no male in their midst,
But gave birth as I did all the same!"

Onanism is also an Old Testament idea.....

There was no mention of insanity or hairy palms in the Wiki definition of onanism. Was the church lying to us?

Its prohibition by both priest and rabbi has more to do with seed spilt on barren ground contrary to divine will.

Mind you, the reference you make to hairy palms is based on the now discredited anthopological theory that onanism led to the petering out of the Neanderthal population, Crazy, eh?

It'll not be long before the three wise men turn up bearing gifts of ants, termites and grubs.

Rumours are rampant that Harrods for their spring fashions is pursuing a policy of collecting first-born male anteater pelts in the state of Connecticut.
Flee little Archie, flee! Seek refuge at the Zoo at Giza overlooking Cairo University.

The killing of all first-borns. That's another Biblical reference.
