So that is my point. Calling the Liberal Government in BC Conservative just because there is no conservative alternative is like calling the Conservative Government in Alberta Liberal (which by the way I have heard people do) but that does not make it so.

That's not why people call campbells gang of crooks "not liberal's". I was there when the socreds self destructed. I was there when campbell screwed Wilson. I was there when Campbell "remade" the party using disenfranchised socreds.

You're probably right, I'm not sure how much a truly con. gov't. is into providing services, they believe people should get off their A$$ and do things for themselves more. We've been spoilt for too long.

So when a Liberal government goes bad, in this case a Provincial one, they aren't allowed to be called Liberal anymore.

Yes and according to some, the Conservatives in Ottawa are really Liberals on some days and Neo-Cons on others. Oh the humanity!
