Meh. The same criticisms were leveled against Stephen Harper--didn't have the experience, never had a real job, out of touch with the "common man."
It appears the criticisms were right on the button! He hasn't done a real skookum job thus far as far as I am concerned. At the moment the only thing I know for sure is I won't be voting Conservative. It is a toss up right now between the Liberals and NDP.

Justin will learn fast, coming up against such a conbot megalomaniac as Harper every day. Hope none of the slime rubs off on him.

Unless something revolutionary happens in the interim, I'm voting Lib, just we don't split the vote..............again.

As a senior I don't see too much to complain about with Harper, (outside of half a dozen idiots in his caucus), he's reduced income tax for seniors and we weathered the down turn in economy better than any of the other G8 countries. Sometimes you have to consider what the alternative could be. He should probably pension off Peter MacKay, he's one detriment that I see and Toews is questionable.

Trudeau is a loser with no substance at all. He's a good fit for the Libs tho, no substance there either.

The NDP did a decent job electing their leader, at least they used some objectivity in their decision making...

Trudeau,,hahaha what a clown!! Good fit for the Libs, they are all clowns,,,,loser clowns,,that is!!

I think he's done well in the economy, and has generally been a steady hand--you know what you're getting with Harper. I just think we need someone shinier and ponier.

My biggest complaint against Harper is the $100 billion dollars he has added to our debt in four years. There are other things but
we all have to pay our debt.

I won't be voting Conservative. What's the old saying: "Politicians, like babies, need to be changed often, and for the same reason."

Lose some?? .....I assume your referring to losing more sh*t. !!!

Well I'm not Lib, so I don't have any to lose!!

Credibility!

I hear you loud and clear # Juan, I was brought up with the philosophy that you eat beans for a month if that what it takes to clear debt, but I don't think the electorate would stand for it, and I doubt if Stevie boy wants to jeopardize his pension. Compared to other jurisdictions he's done fairly well as far as debt goes. $100 billion is a drop in the piss pot when compared to $17 trillion!

The major creditors are Canadians !!

Whatsa matter you, you don't economics??

That should read... you don't understand economics??

Kind of what I thought, so it's not a biggie (as long as I continue to eat).

Actually I think I understand economics better than most people and definitely better than 99% of politicians. Like not spending money you don't have, and not paying 20- 30% interest for stuff I can do without.

OK, one of you neo Trudeaumaniacs is going to have to explain to me how an, at best, second string MP, with minimal experience wins 80% of the votes, and didn't do it on his last name?

No, not that simple I'm afraid when your running a country!!

That's exactly right but the politicians don't even abide by those simple basic rules, so how do you think they are handling the more complicated stuff?

OK, one of you neo Trudeaumaniacs is going to have to explain to me how an, at best, second string MP, with minimal experience wins 80% of the votes, and didn't do it on his last name?

No one in his/her right mind is going to try to explain that, but what amazes me is the only people who were of voting age when Pierre arrived on the scene are in their 60s now and you'd think they'd have enough brains to know better. Having said that you have to give young Justin the opportunity to cause his own political demise....................it's not his fault his old man was an A$$hole!

That's cute.

I didn't think any of you could actually come up with something tangible.

I can think of words less flattering than "cute"! -:)
