I know what I wrote Les and I don't think that any of them were/are logically fallacious nor were presented in an aggressive manner..

For some reason, those posts I submitted are generating responses that are becoming more and more aggressive and eliciting a personal attack.

Maybe you should delineate your position on this more thoroughly and come up with a response/rebuttal that has individual merit as opposed to being based on personal insults

Rather than attacking, Captain, what are your views on the issues facing the Catholic church? Celibacy in the Latin Rite, women's role, reform...?

There are several significant and insignificant differences with Christianity. On the basis tenets they are all in agreement.
I would say more there are differences between protestant and catholic approach to the faith and also emphasis on which aspects of Christ's life and death that they focus on but the basic tenent of professing Christ to be the son of God, and the Trinity are pretty much standard to both approaches. Which I might add fall under the title "Christian".

Like I said, not one of your posts has been on topic. THAT is one of the definitions of a fallacious argument (AKA logical fallacy).

For some reason, those posts I submitted are generating responses that are becoming more and more aggressive and eliciting a personal attack.
For some reason or other you seem to feel the need to avoid the topic and make silly comments like implying I'm a monkey humping a football, etc.
Address the topic and quit the ad hominems and I will stop my ad hominems.

Maybe you should delineate your position on this more thoroughly and come up with a response/rebuttal that has individual merit as opposed to being based on personal insults
And perhaps you could actually comment on the topic st some point in this thread.

I don't expect you to, though, so I will cease replying to your foolishness.

All should be able to marry from Priests to Cardinals- women Priests and away with Infallibility.
But I am not an RC so I have no say.
And regardless of what the RC Church – or any Religion does there will always be something that people find offensive.
Their solution would be to outlaw Religion or force it into the dark of night.

Could it be due to the RC as being the First Church that you state there are Catholics and then Christians. 2 separate entities- When they all descended from one belief.
The RCC claims to be the only "true" church of Jesus Christ.
There are difference between Baptists to Anglican to Protestants to RC’s.
Yes. The differences between Catholicism and the rest of those are quite quite distinct.

The other side of that analysis can look at the similarities between Christian theologies.

If you drill down far enough into any of these, you can probably identify differences within an individual Protestant practices (or Anglican, Catholic, etc). In the end, it doesn't mean that these individual differences qualify as unique religions necessarily.

The problem in this thread that is leading to so much angst is based on the selectivity of where/when to stop splitting the hairs and deem fact based on the subjective line.

Goob just to help you to understand, people misunderstand what it means to say that the pope is infallible. That only pertains to matters of spirituality with regard to the Catholic Church and it's teachings which is based upon the churches infallibility which is based upon scripture. It doesn't mean he is never wrong in other matters not pertaining to church learning.
