I will get right on that. Giving my home address to a mentally unstable, white supremacist polack is something I've been waiting my whole life to do.

IMO, banks/trust companies are good for just a couple things; borrowing from in order to invest, having some place to store emergency cash, and having some place to get paychecks auto-deposited/paying bills.
My father always paid cash for stuff and only borrowed to buy a house.
Want to buy a car? Walking around with $30K in your pocket these days is just plain stupid.
Banks are just like any other tool; use them wisely and they're fine; use them stupidly and you get what you deserve.

Who's gonna issue the cash?

Will there be a central repository where you can take your chickens and preserves to exchange for paper?
Yeap ,that's a mystery of 21st century .

Attaboy, get yourself into trouble and blame a bank for it.
Looks like you didn't read the last part of my comment: banks are just tools. Use them wisely and you'll be fine. Use them foolishly and you get what you deserve. Sounds to me like you fit the latter case.

Obviously we need the banks services ,we can't deal "in cash only" -there is not enough cash to do that .
My post was a sarcastic answer to "taxslave's" observation .But I think you know that .......

Lets not get crazy here. How do you think private central banking became popular? Since you've asked I'll give you one of my theories. Aircraft carriers are one of the most efficient banking tools ever. When the negotiating team has reviewed your application and explained the contract to you, graphic demonstrations included, you will sign the piece of paper or they'll make you watch again.

Why would anybody do that? You can't eat paper or plastic.

Then I guess that you might want to rethink this post

"banks are just tools" when was the last time a screwdriver threw women and children into the street and forclosed, when was the last time a spanner financed both sides in a world war?

-even though I have lost allot of money in China to my x wife in/from my Chinese bank I still have some founds in Singapore
which she couldn't get her hands on - this is an "off shore bank ".Of course I still use the service of the Canadian bank here in Canada while in Canada .So I am using the services of the bank as I agree to what you said in regards of walking arond with 30,000USD in your pocket .I still think you're funny.

It's no wonder Tonnington calls you "DIM rodent". You'd likely be the one to try getting a screwdriver or a wrench to finance something you needed or wanted. Probably the same sort to use a wrench as a hammer or a screwdriver as a chisel.

You're another one that can't seem to grasp what I said about banks being tools.

You said nothing you're using a keyboard Gibson. You wrote, paraphrased, "that only stupid people have problems with private central banking", and I wrote that certainly your opinion on the matter is entirely incorrect. In fact you should avoid banks. Oh,,,, for your information I am a licensed professional tool user and I have taken an oath to never misuse screwdrivers.

That the best you can come up with for a non-sequitur?
You said, paraphrased, that only stupid people have problems with private central banking,
not even close. I would suggest you practise your paraphrasing skills.
and I said that certainly your opinion on the matter is entirely incorrect. In fact you should avoid banks.
You're wrong. We use banks to our advantage, so avoiding them would be foolish.
