Honestly I'd say that ignorance and bigotry go hand in hand, in essence they are one in the same. Bigotry follows ignorance, I often think people, in ignorance, say things that they really and truly don't recognize as bigoted. And I say this because I really don't think that, deep down, most people are as bigoted as they come across. I really do think it's a matter of education and information. But that becomes the crux of the problem. Ignorance and bigotry can be 'righted' with education and information but with this particular issue there are so many conflicting interests, and to be honest not a real cohesive solidarity that I can see on the FN side of things (for the most part) that 'truth' or education ends up as just one more voice in the din.
That's just my impression, what I 'see' when I look at the big picture.

How plausible is the internet? The news is bad enough. The news reports WHAT happens, not the insight into what happens.

Imploding is a fairly recent phenomenum, when I was a kid it was all explosions, very few implosions or maybe it was because the place I grew up wasn't sophisticated enough to have implosions! -
