Is Rev. Jackson running?

Not for president he isn't. I don't question Romney's right to exist. I question
putting a religious zealot in charge of the biggest military in the world.

Mitt Romney vows to ban pornography by installing a filter on every U.S. PCDid you know Mitt Romney has vowed to install pornography filters on all new U.S. computers?
That's going to do really well with the blue collar white male demo.
Hey all you Libertarians. How do you like this?
Or does all that talk about Government overreach only count when there's a Democrat doing it? I got a feeling this will hit most of you where you live. Just be aware. For all of his Father Knows Best appeal, Mitt is a religious zealot crossed with an Amway salesman.

What's with the American obsession with 'the man' versus their policies and track record?

Yeah, he's gonna take away my right to birth control, but damn his neighbours sure get along well with him.

lol that's an ancient quote. Microsoft beat him to it. Also almost all security software comes with Parental Control options. Router based security services have also been offering this service for years. Non issue. In fact, you could say Romney was being prophetic, since for all intents and purposes, all new computers sold with Windows 8 will include a filter to block pornography.

MS is a zealot corp. That explains MSNBC. :)

The question here would be whether Mitt wants to have control over the filter. If it is just a program like net-nanny where the user can turn it on & off then it is a good thing. If he wants to have it turned on all the time without the user having control it is very bad.

- No thank you. Seeing as how you are both a crackpot and a rabid lefty loon, I fear that I would contract an unwelcome case of rabies.

- I find it simply amazing, although I suppose I should not, that the creepiest of the left wing whackjobs on this board still have not actually listened to the 10 minute video that was the initial post in and the basis for this thread.

- Come on, children, take ten minutes out of your busy day (Warning: sarcasm alert!) and actually learn something. Just ten minutes might actually help you to sound less like an uninformed idiot when you mix with informed and educated adult company.

- Remember the words of the United Negro College Fund that a mind is a terrible thing to waste. And remember the words of Michael Moore that a waist is a terrible thing to mind. Get the facts from people who know before you spout off about someone you know nothing about. You failed to properly vet Obama so it is important to properly vet Romney.

How do you figure that American women would lose their right to birth control?

- CM ... Since Romney makes no comment nor proposes any new policy on birth control, maybe she just means that she might lose her right aquired mere months ago under Obamacare to hit up you and me and everyone else for her birth control pills, thereby saving her $9 a month (less her share of the tax and fee increases under Obamacare related to a $9 item which when dealt with by the new layers of government and insurance bureacracy becomes a $15 item). I have heard of political prostitutes for sale to the party promising them the most free stuff but $9 a month less the increased overhead share seems a mite cheap to me.

- I told you in my last post in this thread what is required of you and other left wing loons to earn my respect and response. Predictably, you ignored my comments in this regard. Therefore, you are cordially invited to take a flying fandango because I shall waste no more time on you.

- As to taxslave, if he really is conservative then he may be the only one on Vancouver Island who is and he can speak for himself in this regard. Nothing you say has any credibility with me nor will it unless and until you stop being a deliberately provocative A-hole ignoring the topic at hand and spewing out your steam of consciousness crap instead.
Respect is a two-way street and if you insist on spewing your partisan rhetoric and other such crap, then you won't gain much here. If you somewhere along the line grow up and start making balanced and objective posts, then you most likely will gain some respect.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/08/28/romney-abortion-position_n_1837456.html

Romney has been waffling about the issue and that leaves women unclear about his intentions. Whether he is totally against abortion, partially against it or not against it at all is immaterial. What does matter vote-wise as far as women are concerned is what his policy concerning abortion appears like to them. And considering that women are a rising demographic in the US, the silly goof should pay attention and make his position clear.

Romney has that sh*t eating grin that is the right of the deceptive. He will say anything to
get a vote true or not. The real Romney is not revealed for he is like a toy transformer the
kids play with one day he thinks this, next day he thinks that. Obama thinks the same thing
everyday even when he's wrong.
FEMA is a prime example get rid of it and make the States more responsible for local disasters.
That is fine except for who is going to define local disasters? The latest storm Sandy is a series
of local disasters. Governments will use any loophole available to get out of paying once the
ink is dry on a new agreement.
There are good qualities about Romney we just haven't found them yet.
Even with all the warts and imperfections Obama is still a better choice for everyone even the
mainstream conservatives. When this is over the Republicans may be able to get their party
back, its been hijacked by the ultra conservatives. special interests like the Tea Party and the
Evangelicals who think Christ is coming back any day now. No Christ is not coming back any
time soon, he is smarter than that.
