If you want to take it that way, sure. But I think Mulcair knows he bit off too much and probably won't play that card again. It's too obvious that he would lose support if he continued to make mistakes like that.

So, you're saying that he is learning to keep his personal opinions to himself so that people don't get to know what he is truly like.

I think everyone has prejudices that can come out in the heat of the moment. Maybe his was that a rich, white guy gets preferential treatment. In some respects, he's not far off. But that's an easy one to shoot down unless you have something that directly shows a Con propping Black up in that way.

You can expect Conservatives to make more trollish comments to get under his skin - like the NDP being the CCF or liking Hitler. If he falls for it, he's dust, but if he can maintain his composure and laugh it off, the NDP may do well next election.

Now you're dreaming. The Conservatives will hold on to another majority at least. The NDP, in it's present form, will never form the government, and once the Libs get their shyte back together the NDP will be shoved back into 3rd place.

Perhaps looking at the requirements Black must meet would be useful.

You may as well tell him there's no Santa Claus while you're at it, lol.

Well that's just your opinion.

I doubt NDP will get a majority, but I do think it's very probable the Conservatives will not have more than a minority government.

Like I am doing on Harper on the other thread - It is called projecting years down the road - and the stars align.

Mulcair will have his hands full - And 50 plus one is an albatross for the NDP.

I agree that anything can happen, but if this issue was really that contentious, it would have been obvious by now and support would drop already.

Once lofty, Black fell.

"I do not love thee, Dr Fell,
The reason why I cannot tell;
But this I know, and know full well,
I do not love thee, Dr Fell."

Welcome back, Conrad. Many of us wish we, too, could have done what you did during the Cretin years.

I find it hilarious that Conservatives are welcoming him with open arms, considering they'll wish he went back once he starts up his criticism of the Harper government's crime policy.

He has been doing this for quite a few years.

Considering that this is the case, doesn't that notion eliminate the opportunity of the Harper gvt playing favorites?

Not really. The guy is still well connected even if he does have an opinion that contradicts part of their platform.

Well anyone that has followed Black would have known this. Not like it is a suprise.

All I'm asking is; considering that Black has been critical of the Harper gvt, one might assume that this would be a golden opportunity for Harper to put the screws to Black on a political basis. Seeing how this is not happening, can we not believe that there is no political interference/favoritism going on here?
