The gist of your post seems to be that if you aren't an NHL player, you are not allowed to criticize the Sedins.

I take it, therefore, that you believe that this thread should be deleted, since apparently nobody is qualified to discuss hockey. Using that logic, I assume that you will stop posting completely on all topics.

You don't figure that half of the pair being mugged out of commission for the first three games and probably only operating at 70% for other two didn't have a lot to do with it. I expect there will be a major shakeup for the Canucks now. Luongo will be gone. Actually i think if this team, with its speed and play making had played on the European ice surface, which is 5 metres wider than the North American standard, 3 or 4 strides, they might have been a dynasty. Their game just got bottled up on the smaller ice surface, and couldn't get through the 'pickets' set up by teams like Boston and LA. It's defense last night was just plain bad, in turning the puck over in their own end. The jinx of President's Trophy winner, which has held for several seasons continues.

There was no time to get a riot organized though.. that's a good thing.

To me Wayne was a wimp. Gordie Howe knew how to take care of himself so did
Bobby Orr. We entered an era when the superstars got special treatment and
that was the end of real North American hockey. It became this whining European
stuff, where there is rarely a fight.
Ratings went through the roof when fans realized the old rock em sock em days were
perhaps back. I for one quit watching hockey for a long time but this year I came back
to the game for a try, it is not too bad but its not the same.

What a load of rubbish. There are no women in the NHL because they aren't tough enough (just like the Sedin sisters). Call that "sexual bigotry" if you like but everybody knows it's just genetics and unfortunately for the sisters, they got stiffed on the toughness gene.
